    The 2nd Williams pack has officially created a pinball fanatic out of me. If none of this is news to you and you just want a recommendation on whether the pack is worth it, I wholeheartedly say yes, though with one caveat. I don’t have much interest in going back to play The Party Zone or Black Rose; my affection for this pack is solely for Attack From Mars.

    I'd been sitting on this pack of tables, waiting for it to be discounted. In hindsight, it was probably worth buying at full price. "Williams Pinball - Volume 2" includes three tables, two of which (Attack from Mars and Black Rose) are generally ranked high among the best tables ever made. While I can see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Attack from Mars, I didn't get into Black Rose at all–I found it too gimmicky and unforgiving. On the other hand, I enjoyed the third table (The Party Zone) more than I expected, considering that it's not considered one of the "classic" Williams designs.

    All in all, this is a great pack to complement the base free Pinball FX3 game–especially if you prefer simulations of real-life tables over digitally designed ones.    … Full Review »
