The ball is still in play in Pinball FX, and we hope it doesn’t wind up in the drain early. While fun, it’s a clear step back from FX3 visually on the Switch, and in terms of content. New players should still have a blast, but for existing fans, Zen Studios has let us down.

Complete downgrade from Pinball FX3. Visuals are blurry and definitely a lower resolution than the advertised 1080/720p. The game runs on UE4Complete downgrade from Pinball FX3. Visuals are blurry and definitely a lower resolution than the advertised 1080/720p. The game runs on UE4 engine now instead of the old engine Zen Studio had custom made for pinball. This results in a number of issues and physics problems as the Switch notoriously struggles with th UE4. Add insult to injury by asking players re-buy tables from previous games making this release feel even more cash grabby. Would be worth it maybe for the new tables if this were as playable as FX3 but it isn't. Doubt they will be able to or even try to correct the issues here as better studios have failed to fix UE4 Switch issues in much better made games. Stick with FX3 for mobile pinball itch. First of all I have to say that I'm a huge fan of Sony's Pinball Heroes, the game that revives my Vita from her death chamber the most lastFirst of all I have to say that I'm a huge fan of Sony's Pinball Heroes, the game that revives my Vita from her death chamber the most last couple of years so I'm biased.
I'd only play pinball on a portable device, the rest makes no sense to me, either for real or on the go.
I've seen mostly Zen studios Pinball so far, and since it is free (+1) I gave it a chance today, what a disappointment.
There are several view options but none of them suits me. Pushing the machine doesn't work for me too, I've tilted a few without affecting the trajectory of the ball even the slightest.
Graphics are decent (+1) but that's an easy one, not important as physics tho' and those didn't suit me as well.
There are 3 "themes" (+1) coming with a 2.2GB install (Darwin only knows why it's so large) the rest is expensive imo. like the Borderlands table costing 2x more then the real Trilogy games I've downloaded not so long ago. I've already deleted it but since it is free go take a look for yourselves, maybe it'll suit you.
