    Best Pikmin so far, it has taken the best parts of every other pikmin game and put them together. I think some people expected more from the story but I actually found it quite enjoyable, lots of little things to you might notice as a fan of the series. I didn't like switching between 3 captains in the third game, switching between 2 captains in the second game was good, but in thisBest Pikmin so far, it has taken the best parts of every other pikmin game and put them together. There is plenty of content, but I hope they make more (or at least don't make us wait 10 years for pikmin 5!!). I'll be coming back to play this game over and over again.… Expand

    Absolutely brilliant game.

    Presentation is beautiful. Difficulty is well tuned; not too hard, not too easy. Level design is excellent. Polish is exemplary. And so many new features.

    A joy to play.

    I played pikmin 1, 2, and 3 leading up to this game. I thought that pikmin 2 would always be my favorite, but 4 has blown me away. The love I’ve had for this series since I was a child was realized by the team over at Nintendo on this one. It has the polish of 3 and the content of 2. I’m so happy pikmin got the love it deserved.     This game just blew me away in terms of how fun and joyful the whole experience is. It's wholesome entertainment throughout. You feel complete immersed in the various levels, the gameplay is top notch and the graphics are really good. The gameplay loop is very addictive but it might not be for everyone so definitely worth taking a shot at the demo before you buy.

    Literally incredible through in through. A perfect game for first timers and for veterans. It has amazing quality of life changes all while still leaving plenty of room for expression with all the new and returning mechanics to the series.

It feels like a love letter to fans that have been waiting for a new game for a long time as well as a great introduction to the franchise for newcomers. The final battle against Louie is absolutely INSANE and the extra Olimar chapter makes me remember how Pikmin 1 made me nervous with the time restriction. Just great!… Expand

    Pikmin 4 is a return to form after 10 years of wait. The franchise reaches new heights with this game, using the best from previous Pikmin games and subilmating it by combining quality and quantity.

    Pikmin 4 is a very charming and relaxing game that also shares a fair amount of stressful fights against some incredible creatures.     Sin embargo también introduce situaciones y modos de mayor dificultad, entre ellos una especie de versión revisada del pikmin 1, así como los desafíos dandori (especialmente complicados los desafíos del sabio, una vez que los desbloqueemos). Los asaltos nocturnos también aportan un cambio de aire, siendo esencialmente desafíos tower defense, cambiando el gameplay del juego.     This is my first Pikmin game and I love it !

    Visuals are beautiful and cute. Good performances too. The gameplay is very addictive and stay fresh. You can tell there's attention to small details in this game.

    Great game. Definitely the best in the whole Pikmin series. There is just so much stuff to do, and keep yourself busy with. It's is easy enough for new players and young kids to have an enjoyable time, while still offering a good enough challenge for returning veterans.     O jogo que me fez parar de jogar Breath of the wild.
    Muito bonito, a gameplay é totalmente polida e agradável, tanto para os novos jogadores quanto para os veteranos. Estar localizado para o Brasil ajuda bastante, espero que a série encontre seu lugar ao sol após essa iteração.

    Pikmin 4 is the DEFINITIVE Pikmin game. It carries over and builds upon elements from the previous games while also maintaining a sense of consistency in the gameplay. The graphics are also just impressive to put it simply. I now see why they decided to use Unreal Engine 4 for this game. As Unreal has very good asset streaming technology.

    Very good looking game with unique gameplay, the new features don't feel like they bloat the game for the sake of it. Many QoL features have been added and they are great. The tutorial is a bit dense but most interactions can be skipped, I don't think that fraction of total playtime detracts from the experience.

    This game has been absolutely wonderful. Please give it a chance if you haven't. I'm not a life long pikmin fan. The first I personally played was pikmin 3 deluxe, so I'm not saying this out of any sense of nostalgia. If you're a fan of unconventional rts and a goofy stories with entertaining characters, you cannot find a better game.

    This is quite possibly the best looking switch game ever made and still runs great with many amazing rts mechanics as well as optional features for newcomers, anyone who says otherwise was what is known as a "Dandori issue"

    As a long time Pikmin fan I was kinda worried about the game after playing the demo concerned it was oversimplified and too easy but I couldn't be far from the truth. While it doesn't reach the difficulty of series past like 2, it is an absolutely fantastic game with a surprising amount of content and callbacks for the fans. PLAY THIS GAME!!!

    Maybe this is just because the game came out, but it is my favourite pikmin game! I love the whole vibe it gives with its beautiful areas and cute characters. Pikmin 4 introduces many new elements which, all from what I have experienced so far, are a great addition to the pikmin series!

    I also really like the cool treasures you can collect and the fun names and descriptions they are    Maybe this is just because the game came out, but it is my favourite pikmin game!     Como recién iniciado en esta saga, Pikmin 4 nos ha puesto las cosas fáciles a los menos veteranos, con una jugabilidad muy sencilla de entender y sin complicaciones asociadas a límites de tiempo, que impedirían descubrir este juego en todo su esplendor (y que, aun con todo, se mantienen en unos desafíos especiales de lo más refrescantes para cuando ya te has familiarizado con el juego). Tiene un estilo artístico genialmente cuidado, una dificultad bien medida (salvo algún jefe algo facilón), y una curva de progreso correcta. Supone una síntesis de elementos que he visto (que no jugado) en otros Pikmin, y que no deja de lado la fórmula del juego, que lo hace entretenido y único: la importancia de la gestión de recursos y la planificación (el arte del "Dandori" mencionado hasta la saciedad). Cada jugador interactúa de una forma especial con el juego, y aprende a organizarse ante los desafíos que este le plantea, en un proceso constante de ensayo y error.

    La introducción de los perros de rescate (espero que para quedarse) ha sido también un total acierto. La historia es muy simple, pero cumple su cometido: justificar decenas de horas de juego (en mi caso, más o menos 35 horas con todo explorado al 100%, una duración muy decente). En resumen, muy recomendable. Una, en cierto modo, casualización de la saga, que llega hasta el punto óptimo. Un juego excelentemente ejecutado que amplía los horizontes de Pikmin.    … Expand

    Pikmin 4 is the most charming (and dare I say the most fun) release of 2023. Stunning hyper realistic terrain, juxtaposed with fun, toy-like character design. An incredible amount of incentive to 100% each available area. And above all else, absolutely addictive gameplay.

    Esta era una de las pocas sagas de nintendo que no le había dado la oportunidad.. y vaya, que juegazo de gestión de unidades y de recolección de objetos. No sé por qué me recordó un poco a mis tiempos jugando stacraft( de una manera lejana) El perro da mucha facilidad de exploración y velocidad. Los pikmin tienen habilidades siempre utiles. Los mapas son enormes y dan mucho que hacer. SoloEsta era una de las pocas sagas de nintendo que no le había dado la oportunidad.. y vaya, que juegazo de gestión de unidades y de recolección de objetos.     Don't worry about playing 1-3. 4 is the best starting point for newcomers. It has the best QoL and the story is easy for newcomers to jump in on. It also takes all the best aspects from previous entries, making it easily the best in the franchise.

    Nunca había probado un pikmin anteriormente en profundidad y a este le di la oportunidad. Es fantastico, pura jugabilidad e ingenio. Bonitos paisajes , muy buenas misiones. Me ha fascinado... creo que si no eres un fan de toda la vida con esta saga es una excelente forma de introducirte a ella. No defrauda. Lo que si es que debes darle tiempo para comprender sus mecánicas e ideas... no esNunca había probado un pikmin anteriormente en profundidad y a este le di la oportunidad. Es fantastico, pura jugabilidad e ingenio. Bonitos paisajes , muy buenas misiones. Ever since Miyamoto casually said in an interview back in 2015 that Pikmin 4 was in development I have waited long and waited patiently. 8 years later, Pikmin 4 finally released and I can tell you that the wait was very much worth it. Pikmin 4 has easily tied and possibly even surpassedI’ve been a long time fan of the Pikmin series, since the very first game on the GameCube back in 2001. The game was made with both new and veteran players in mind with a bunch of references to the previous games that veterans will enjoy but is also easily accessible for new players who have never played a Pikmin game before. Although the main story is short, if you go for all of the side content, post game, and/or 100% completion then you will easily clock in many hours playing this game. I highly recommend everyone to play this game, it is a must have for all Switch owners.… Expand

I picked up the game shortly after, and it is one of the most beautiful and charming Nintendo Switch games I have ever played.     The only issue I have with this game is that I find it to be a tad too easy, especially as a Pikmin veteran myself, but aside from that, I can't think of a single thing wrong with this game. It's an absolute masterpiece and it deserves every ounce of praise it gets.

Oatchi is a joy too, he never becomes annoying or obnoxious, he always stays helpful.
    Pikmin 4 occasionally feels a bit easy at times compared to other games however, half of the areas are found in the post-game, containing harder puzzles and Dandori battles more fit for experienced players.     Haven’t had this much fun playing a pikmin game since I was a child, this game is excellent. I hated the 3rd game but this just upgrades the experience in every way imaginable. It’s so enjoyable and addicting.

No sólo es un un juego divertido y dinámico, sino que además es el Pikmin más extenso con diferencia. El juego opta por un juego quizá más fácil a lo que Pikmin nos tiene acostumbrados, pero eso no merma la experiencia de juego, ya que tendremos distintos desafíos que sorprenderán a más de un veterano.     Everything I wanted from this game and more. It was worth the 10 year wait because it's so packed with content. I've played for around 50 hours and still haven't done everything.

    The AI deserves some kind of award because the pikmin do exactly what you want them to do 99% of the time. The art style is beautiful.     I was worried about Oatchi dominating the whole experience, but when you find yourself not wanting to be without him at any point in the game, that's a sign that he was a major improvement to the gameplay.

    Even the longer tutorial justifies itself by building an addictive, cozy gameplay loop with a continuously growing hub to relax in before setting out on missions.

    I have played a bit of it, and already so far I am impressed! The graphics look incredible and the soundtrack is top notch! I love the gameplay, and I believe Pikmin 4 is the best the series has had.

    One of the best games I've ever played. It is seriously amazing. The longest Pikmin game to 100% and one of the best controls. The story is fun but hard to place in between the other games but that's no problem. One of the best looking games on the system

    First Pikmin game, and I'm in love. Gameplay is sooooo addicting, the environments are beautiful and huge and very well-thought out. Everything is precious, and it could potentially remind a lot of people how to see things in whole new ways. Wonderful.

    Niveau technique, le jeu est en 840p max en mode docké et 540p en mode portable, j'ai pu avoir l'expérience de jouer en mode portable et on ressent en permanence que nous sommes dans un jeu vidéo avec de gros pixels visibles ce qui gache l'expérience de jeu. Le jeu est en 30 FPS ce qui reste convenable mais un 60fps n'aurait pas fait de mal.
    Niveau de l'équilibrage de l'utilisation des Pikmins je la trouve très déséquilibré exemples que je prends souvent quand je parle du jeu : le Pikmin jaune est devenu inutile en post game a aucun moment je l'ai utilisé après le 100% d'avant la première fin, le Pikmin ailé qui nous ai donné inutilement vers le début du jeu...
    Et je trouve aussi qu'on se sent moins récompenses d'avoir un nouveau type de Pikmin aucun obstacle pour l'avoir, pas d'oignon (trouvé dans la nature comme un simple objet), aucune mise en scène je trouve que c'est un vrai retour en arrière par rapport à Pikmin 4.
    La difficulté du jeu est mal géré certain boss de Pikmin 2 réputé pour leur difficulté se sont réduit a être détruit en même pas 20 secondes (et je rigoles pas avec 20sec) il aurait été favorable de mettre un mode de difficulté hard rendant les ennemies plus stock niveau PV et autres petites changements avec bienvidemment.
    Le lock automatique est une abomination quand on a vu le lock parfait qu'était dans Pikmin 3 Deluxe juste un paramètre pour désactiver ce lock automatique aurait rendu le jeu 4x plus maniable dans nos lancés de pikmins

    I cannot explain how good this game is. From its concept, the its gameplay, to its visuals, everything is amazing. The game is about 20h long and the post game adds over 10h to the experience.

    If you have never played a Pikmin game, i highly recommend you to start with Pikmin 4. It is beginner friendly.

    This game is a massive love letter to longtime fans of the series - nothing short of a masterpiece. Takes all of the best parts of Pikmin 2 (which was my personal favorite entry in the series) and evolves them further into a succinct and wonderful game that was, in my opinion, well worth the wait.

    I get it they wanted to teach the gameplay to new comers.. but still... it's too long and boring. - The overall difficulty of Pikmin 4 is a disappointment (it's too easy) not challenging enough... thankfully it gets harder by the end of the game and it's still super fun to play etc... but where is the " ultra spicy hard mode " ?? Why don't we unlock a hard mode after finishing the game once ? This kills the replayability to me and to lots of people.
    Give the players the choice and let them have fun with different difficulty levels . Pikmin is best when it's super challenging.

    Conclusion : Despite " the bad ", I still put 10/10 to Pikmin 4 in order to support this underrated franchise that deserves so much more love ! Pikmin 4 is a guaranteed great time and is definitely worth your time and money ! Go and buy it ! It's not perfect but man ... it's Pikmin, it's just so unique and charming. The most underrated Nintendo franchise !!!

To me, each installment has improved on the formula of Pikmin. This one stands above the others in that regard. It's a joy to explore the large environments and caves of the world. The key gripe here is that unlike 2 and 3, pikmin 4 does not have fleshed out co-op. It seems like such a waste considering you control 2 characters the whole time. In conclusion, buy this game! It's the best the series has ever been and probably the most welcoming to new fans. I cannot wait to see where they go next and I feel almost certain we may not have to wait as long for the next one because of how much traction this installment will provide. GO BUY THIS GAME! The game streamlines and simplifies frustrating aspects of the past games while still managing to ramp up the game’s somewhat easy difficulty at the end. Olimar’s Shipwreck Tale and the Trial of the Sage Leaf are sure to challenge even the oldest of Pikmin veterans!     Pikmin 4 is a well thought out game. It incoperatorates elemts from many previous games including remaking all the enemies and havin all the old Pikmin back. It may seem to easy at first but it gets more difficult later on. I would recommend it to new commers and veterans of the series.

    It's a wonderful game in general. Feels good to see so many returning enemies make a reappearance and some new enemies as well. The story is also really great, and the dandori modes are really fun and challenging. I couldn't recommend it enough.

    This is peak Nintendo gaming. It feels fresh, innovative, fun, satisfying. No matter how you play games, you will find something special here, which is a statement not easy to get these days. I have finished the game yesterday and still couldnt put it down, it is just incredible.

    It's a thrilling ride. You go for one short game and wake up after five hours, only to return to playing immediately because you've figured out how to beat your opponent. The graphics may be simple, but they make up for it with the colour and thoughtfulness of the environments, and one genuinely enjoys exploring every nook and cranny. This is really worth it.
