    This game is truly spectacular. Pikmin is incredible. The story, environment, gameplay, music. Everything feels good. The reason I gave this a 7 however is because there is not enough content to justify $60. Nothing was added from Wii U version. But the bigger issue is a lack of content.     Great game, let down by it only being a couple hours long.

    The gameplay and strategy is fun, and really a concept that needs a game thats properly dedicated to giving a much deeper and lengthy experience. The major issue that i have docked so many points for is in my mind its unforgivably short for a full priced game. I beat the game in an evening.     The major issue that i have docked so many points for is in my mind its unforgivably short for a full priced game.

    I beat the game in an evening.
    Sure i did not go back and get every single fruit, and that could have added another couple hours.
    But the story content lasts only a few hours.

    You explore a small handful of maps, fight a couple big monsters, then the final map has a multi staged boss fight, this i thought was the first major boss in a longer game, but its not.
    It ends very soon after.

    I do still have the side missions but from what i hear they are not long either.
    The games replay value comes entirely from trying to get the best times on maps to get all the fruit in as few days as possible.

    But for most that's not something that's appealing.
    The game should have a discounted price, especially seeing as its a port of the same game from an older system.

    If you wanted a great RTS puzzle game this is it, but if you want one that will keep you going for more then 1 long session with original content and story, then this is not something worth picking up.    … Expand

    It’s fun but extremely short and easy. I love the new difficulty levels but hard mode is not hard enough and the game isn’t really fun enough to play again on the higher difficulty. The Challenge Mode is fun and a good challenge but gets boring after a while. And the Olimar side stories are pretty disappointing. Boss mode is great. And the story is amazing even tho it’s extremely short. AsIt’s fun but extremely short and easy.     I haven't played any Pikmin game before. After I tried the free demo, I instantly fell in love with it and decided to buy a full copy. The co-op mode is a huge plus for couples.

    Absolutely loved this game. The enhanced graphics on the switch as well as the additional content make it a very worthy improvement from the previous edition. Does justice to the Pikmin legacy and I truly hope that this is the start of more Pikmin content on the switch.

    I have always loved the Pikmin series, and the enhancements that this remaster brings to the Nintendo Switch tighten up the gameplay even more! I only wish that Nintendo would have introduced an online component to its otherwise-engaging Bingo Battles, especially during this time of the pandemic! I hope that 'Pikmin 3 Deluxe' works to introduce this wonderful and unique IP to a much largerI have always loved the Pikmin series, and the enhancements that this remaster brings to the Nintendo Switch tighten up the gameplay even more!     I love pikmin and this game is no exception. I played it the first day it came out on the Wii U and it is just as fun today. I bought this because it did include some new content, and because I want Nintendo to get Pikmin support so that they make a 4th. If you havent tried this game, give it a shot!

    9.8/10 Very useful accessibility and control options. Lots of modes to play. Very fun, well polished game with beautiful scenery. Great for all ages. 3 difficulty levels. Focuses primarily on time management strategy and has a fairly good story with a pretty nice chunk of content. Enjoyed it a lot, worth the money.

    I love the Pikmin series, but -- maybe 'cause I'm older now -- this was not as much fun. Some of the puzzles are interesting and some get sort of tedious. The ratio of time running around the world and time with blah-blah-blah and the spaceship is off. There's a way to play this game where you're trying to do everything fast vs. poking around and sort of enjoying the scenery, and I preferI love the Pikmin series, but -- maybe 'cause I'm older now -- this was not as much fun. There's a way to play this game where you're trying to do everything fast vs. poking around and sort of enjoying the scenery, and I prefer to poke around.     I suspect this game is more fun as multiplayer, but haven't had a chance to try that out yet.

    Loved the main game. The game is totally accessible for a first timer and explains all the mechanics well. NOTE - I played on the highest difficulty level and it worked perfectly. Was just challenging enough but absolutely not too difficult. The highest difficulty level limits the number of Pikmins in your team from 100 to 60. 100 is waaaaay too    I never played a Pikmin game before.

    A solid 8, almost a 9.

    The campaign is great, however ends pretty quickly.
    There is this constant pressure between exploration for food for our crew, and the mission objectives pushing the story ahead.

    The add ons - its here, however they are nowhere near as good as the main campaign. They are very easy, thus taking away the great 'stress' feeling from the main campaign (limited Pikmins to 60, the constant worry about food). It is something more to play, but really nothing special.

    If I have played this game before on the WiiU, I would not pick this up on Switch. That just does not make sense, as there is nothing special about this release.
    For a new comers like myself - highly recommended.
    As a total package a strong 8/10 , the main campaign is short but great.    … Expand

Highly recommend, especially for newcomers due to flexible difficulties.Compared to other entries in the series, this one has no day limits but instead opts for a juice limit of which although I wish wasn't as easy, really is.Replayability is the name of the game, as is amazingAmazing game. Good description and not possible to be deceived or disappointed as long as you read and watch the trailer. Yes, it is a remake, But I never played any of the games before, although I always wanted to play them. Now with the Nintendo Switch, you get a small but wonderfully masterpiece.Wonderfull game.     This game was a ton of fun. It controls great, the graphics are great, the music is great, and the difficulty ramps up at a steady pace. It might be a bit too easy if you come here seeking a challenge. To set it apart from the Wii U version, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is on the Switch which is a console people actually own, and it also comes with a few extra hours of gameplay content. Highly recommend it!

    this games really fun, and all the improvements from the wii u version are good ones, but theres just not enough of them. i cant reccomend paying full price for a years-old game where you can get the same experience for 40 dollars cheaper. buy it on the wii u, or wait for the switch version to go on sale.

    It was wonderful to be back in the world of Pikmin: exploring a dangerous and intriguing planet leading an army of cute    I was a huge fan of Pikmin 1 & 2 back in the day, but never had the opportunity to play 3. When this got ported to Switch I felt that old familiar urge and went for it. What awaited me was an nostalgic and fun play experience in one of my favorite Nintendo series ever!

    It was wonderful to be back in the world of Pikmin: exploring a dangerous and intriguing planet leading an army of cute and utterly obedient minions. What's not to love? This port to Switch performs and looks great. The puzzles and battles are addicting and the never-ending drive to explore every nook and cranny as efficiently as possible will keep you glued to your Switch to hours. Then once you are done with the story there are tons of challenge missions to sink your teeth into. This is a game with a decent level of re-playability; there is always something to get better at and optimize. Gotta get those platinum medals!

    How would I describe Pikmin to someone who hasn't experienced it before? It is an action, real-time-strategy game with puzzle and completionism elements. All that wrapped up in a deceptively cute exterior that hides a complex core. It's easy to learn, but difficult to master. My favorite type of game honestly.

    But this version is not without a few flaws. First I knock it for the price. A port from a seven year old game should not be introduced at full price. I went for it because I never played Pikmin 3, but I can imagine this would turn a lot of folks off (especially with Pikmin 4 supposedly around the corner). But even still, I couldn't help but think "this cost too much" multiple times while playing.

    Second, the story is far too short. It's not bad, but I cruised through the main story in 4 hours maybe. There are plenty of challenges to follow up with (which extend the life of the game GREATLY), but felt a little let down by the story.

    Third, something I knock every Pikmin game for: the ever present timer. Ahh! It turns what feels like it ought to be a slow paced, casual game into a constant race against the clock. It's inescapable, every mode. It creates a more intense puzzle experience for sure, but makes the game not one I'd pick up for an hour of laid back gameplay.

    Overall I recommend this game up if you've never played Pikmin 3. It will definitely help bridge the gap to the fabled Pikmin 4 (not to mention its an excellent game in its own right). However, if you have played the original version of this game I don't see any good reason for you to fork over full price for a port.    … Expand

    Story mode was mostly fun, but much shorter than I expected. After pressing on with the mission and planning to go back later to collect fruit I’d left behind, the game suddenly ended after a frustrating final level being chased by that gold blob.     Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a good game that is brought down by flawed controls, muddy visuals, and not bringing enough new things to make buying it again worth it. If you haven't played Pikmin 3 yet, then you should definitely think about picking this game up, although it isn't one of the must haves for the switch.

    it's a great game in 2013 on the wii U. every wii U port so far I feel is overpriced and has been played less than it's original and that is defo the case here because it adds so little. It feels the same but now with a harder mode and worse gyro control.

    This is prolly one of the BEST 2p coop couch switch game out there, believe me I have checked a lot of them.
    For non player partners this can still be safely played (with the exception of the final boss maybe).

Growing a little armies of adorable creatures as I explored a beautiful organic world collecting fruit and beating giant bugs was fun enough, but with the game being fully co-op it lead to one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had. Being able to divide and conquer each area lead to a lot of teamwork and time management as weThis game was an absolute joy from beginning to end. In one singular game, Pikmin may have become one of my favorite Nintendo IPs. This game is filled with so much love and joy from Miyamoto, and it really shows.     I love this game. The Wii U is the only Nintendo console i never had so this is totally fresh and lovely for me. Really enjoying it. I love how I can just restart a day if I don't feel my first attempt was successful. Overall awesome!

    The story's surprisingly in depth for a Nintendo game, and for a Pikmin game with more happening than just "Find these items".

    The gameplay's the same tride and true Pikmin that we all know and love too. Using your Pikmin to do the fighting for you is really satisfying, and over half the enemies have at least 1 or 2 types of Pikmin that are especially good at taking them down. And of course tying into that are the items you need to collect which usually require some puzzle (However simple) to obtain.
    The bosses are a blast to fight too, each with their own unique attack patterns and special gimmick.

    Seeing the fruit get 'analysed' and having different coloured juice pour into bottles at the end of each day is worth the price of admission alone. And the notes each character makes on both the fruit and enemies, along with the conversations the main characters have and the data files add more layers of depth to the game that's much needed.

    That's my review for the base game, and as for the port. Let me say this as a disclaimer, it doesn't need to add anything new save for the DLC. It's a port, not a remake. Being brought over to the Switch with all the DLC justifies its price point.

    But for what it does add:
    Quality of life improvements that are small, but add up over the course of the game.
    New Piklopedia which oozes as much charm as the original.
    2 new difficulty options, one that's easier (Normal) and one that's harder (Super Spicy) which adds a ton of challenge
    A ton of achievements to try and earn for that little bit of extra replay value.
    2 new side missions which are just as great as the main campaign.
    And Co-op, so you don't have to play alone.

    I can't think of any negatives, but that's not to say the game's perfect. In saying that, no game's perfect. Each one has its own individual flaws, and that's why I'd happily recommend playing this game.    … Expand

    Gran juego en todo los aspectos, pero tienes muy pocas alicientes si ya lo tienes en WII U, los extras son gran agrado, pero no la suficiente y no le gran fanático de Pikmin como yo. Igualmente es uno de los mejores de la generación, es la ocasión perfecta si no lo jugaste o no tuviste una Wii U y más con éxito del Switch lo pueda jugar.

    Strategic perfection. The main story is one of the best I've ever played, you have to think very carefully about every choice you make. The side content is also excellent. I've beaten this game twice now and plan to do it all over again. You owe it to yourself to play it.

The new additions provide new story content, excellent music, incredibly improved ai, slightly enhanced textures, better pathfinding, and, the best part, incredible new controls. I highly recommend this masterpiece of a game. An easy 10/10 for me, especially for a newcomer. And for experienced Pikmin veterans, the replayabilityI cannot express enough my love for this game and franchise. So I see why Nintendo ported this game to their newer console, the Nintendo Switch.

    The game itself, however, is essentially a rehash of an already great game with some changes added to it and new modes to explore. There's a Normal mode, a Hard mode, and an Ultra-Spicy mode for new players and old players. I've only played the Normal and Hard modes, so I can't really speak for the Ultra-Spicy mode, but I know that the Normal mode is really just Pikmin 3 at its core and the Hard mode makes it a little more difficult, just like in the first iteration of the game. The Ultra-Spicy Mode, however, is an entirely new addition to the game, and it makes the game light years more difficult to play. That can be good for some players, but I personally wouldn't recommend it for newcomers.

    All in all, however, the game doesn't really add anything that new or out there. I personally think that the Nintendo just put out Pikmin 3 Deluxe so they could say they have a Pikmin game for Switch. And I fear that it may be the last Pikmin game ever.

    Shigeru Miyamoto said in 2015 that "Pikmin 4 was very close to completion," but with the release of Pikmin 3 Deluxe, I'm not entirely sure that that is the case anymore. It would be very sad, in my eyes, if this was the last Pikmin game ever.

    One pf the best games I ever played. It’s a whole open world/universe. Very detailed . Controls responde perfectly. The story is unique and very special. The visuals are amazing. There’s nothing to say wrong about this game. There’s exploring, strategy and adventure in one sweet cute package.It’s just perfect.

    It may be a disappointment to hardcore Pikmin 2 fans since the caving aspect is gone but for more Hardcore Pikmin 1 fans it will be in short but good return to form to the roots of the series.

    Overall I'll say this get the demo and see if you like the Arcadeyness of the game if you do you'll be like me and buy it and have over 35 hours in it. If you get the demo and you don't like it then just move on or try Pikmin 2 if you want a more metriodvinia style of game.    … Expand

    I kept being told this game was amazing and so painfully underrated. They freaked when it came to Switch. I played it and thought it was okay.

    Then I got mad at them for not telling me about the amazing multiplayer mode.

    One of the most overlooked franchise from Nintendo. It's very cute, interesting and sometimes hard. This concept is really interesting, I've never seen somewhere else. The game is not very long, about 10+ hours, but I think this is fine. I enjoyed every minute of this game

    Pikmin 3 Deluxe is complete for a management game. Endearing, the pikmins are an intelligent mechanic but little exploited because of a weak lifespan. That said, the mission modes and the side story add hours to the clock.

My only real complaint is that it feels like it was very specifically built for multiplayer in a way that almost makes it more difficult to play single player.     I miss the Pikmin series so much. I really hope this re-release helps bring Pikmin 4 out faster. Pikmin 3 was always a gorgeous game & still remains insanely addictive and fun to this day. Not as good as 2, but still great.

    A simple concept that's executed perfectly.

    Pikmin 3 has charming characters, some good riddles and is generally fun.
    The only bad point, sometimes the Pikmin path-finding fails.
    If you own a Switch or even a WII U this is a must have in your collection.

    la serie di pikmin riesce nel difficile compito di prendere un genere tanto complesso, e semplificarlo ma senza renderlo banale, un po come aveva fatto mario + rabbids.
    riuscire a portare al grande pubblico un genere strategico non era semplice, ma pikmin risulta essere uno strategico veramente interessante.
    nel gioco dovremo gestire cinque tipologie di pikmin che si sboccano progressivamente con varie abilità, e avanzare nelle mappe attivando sempre più scorciatoie.
    ci sarà un limite temporale dove dovremo portare tutti i pikmin al sicuro prima del calare della notte, in caso contrario faranno tutti una brutta fine, ma fortunatamente non sarà necessario completare tutto il livello in un singolo giorno.
    nel mentre esploreremo queste ambientazioni per raggiungere l'obbiettivo principale e il boss di fine mondo dovremo cercare di accumulare più frutta possibile per non morire di fame, e anche se inizialmente potrebbe sembrare che c'è una sensazione di fretta le scorte saranno molto abbondanti, rendendo davvero difficile finire il tempo.
    storia differente per i pikmin invece, dato che basterà un piccolo errore per vedere la propria armata decimata.
    invece non ho molto apprezzato la gestione dei tre capitani e la divisione dei compiti che risulterà non immediata.
    dato che gestire tutti e tre risulterà non sempre comodissimo, e dare dei pikmin al secondo o terzo capitano non sarà sempre immediato, dato che li dovremo lanciare, e se il pikmin si troverà vicino ad un obbiettivo molto spesso ci andrà.
    se non vi siete mai avvicinati al genere pikmin 3 è un titolo caldamente consigliato, ma anche per chi è più esperto potrà trovare un più che valido prodotto, puntando a cercare di ottenere tutti i frutti, o magari giocarlo alle difficoltà più elevate

    Pikmin 3 Deluxe took an already amazing Pikmin game and somehow made it even better. With a ton of fixed bugs, added content, and quality of life changes, I would recommend this game to anyone if if they have already played Pikmin 3.

    Oh my God what a treat this game is! I played through it and loved it, then played through it again in multiplayer and fell back in love! The quality of life improvements are all very much needed. Just a little sad that the co-op feature didn't return in pikmin 4. Collecting everything is so much fun any way you slice it. It's so much fun! It's a must play if you are looking for couch co-op games!

    Pikmin 3 Deluxe is the best way to experience Pikmin 3. Tons of minor changes make the game more accessible, and the new content adds a couple of hours to the short main campaign. Still, the game is largely the same game that appeared on the WiiU, from its colorful visuals to gameplay.
