PHOGS! is a real gaming treat. It's a very well crafted co-op focused experience which works whether the players are of equal or different skill levels. It's a budget release, yet feels very content-rich for the price. And it creates a unique world that is both memorable and fun to experience.

A charming and original little puzzle-adventure game that should appeal to a wide variety of audiences: kids, families, or even adults looking for something fun and innocuous for game night.

The general vibes I got from playing Phogs! are almost identical to those I felt with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle as I felt like anything could be around any corner and I never knew what to expect. If you’re looking for a puzzle game that will cheer you up through hard times, Phogs! will put a smile on your ‘phace’.

Phogs! is an experience like no other, and one we’d recommend everyone to try – especially if you can rope in a friend.

PHOGS! is a puzzle adventure game in which players take control of a two-headed dog. Players will experience a wonderful solo or co-op game as they help bizarre creatures in a whimsical world.

PHOGS! is a bright, colourful and highly charming game that will no doubt create a big smile from simply absorbing its cutesy world. The gameplay, unfortunately, can stumble due to its repetition and uneven levels of creativity in terms of puzzles. Still, if you’re looking for an enjoyable co-operative time with two adorable dogs then PHOGS! has you covered.

Phogs is a genuine dose of unbridled joy in a weird, physics-y, dog-tube package. It's hard to play this game without having a huge, goofy smile on your face. The Switch version has some minor to major issues here and there, but it rarely slows down the momentum of the puzzle-solving, dog-wiggling gameplay – this is another brilliant co-op experience for Nintendo's system.

PHOGS! is as delightful as it is unique and entrancing. While the controls are a little tough to get the feel of for solo-players, teaming “pup” with a friend allows for an experience that, though mostly on the easy side, guarantees the player a thoroughly good time—especially in the boss stages.

While there are good ideas presented here, PHOGS! is too slow and unexciting for it to stand out from the crowd.

Putting aside the concept of two dogs sharing the same body, PHOGS! puts the player solving puzzles that require a good use of the laws of physics, and it does a great job at that - even more so in cooperative multiplayer, which is where PHOGS! truly shines. If the execution of the mostly simple and accessible puzzle-solving is done without a scratch, there are a few technical flaws to be found but which don't harm the game's overall experience.

PHOGS! is a doggone delight to play! The enchanting music, outstanding visuals, and simple yet dynamic gameplay will keep you entertained for hours. Whether you’re looking for some soothing solo action, or want to go for walkies with an online buddy, PHOGS! will scratch your puzzle platforming itch.

I really, really wanted to love Phogs!, but I simply couldn't. It really is a lovely idea, set in a lovely world and there's a simple joy to the game's opening. It's clear just how much love went into this game, right down to the Hollywood Bowl carpet at the bowling alley, but the execution just leaves you wanting. Between the repetition and the bugs, there’s just too much to get frustrated with, making the game, at times, an uphill struggle.

This is a charming, clever puzzler that is a delightful cooperative experience that is perfect for an afternoon on the couch with a friend or loved one. The simple controls make it easy to pick up, and the witty uses of the core concept will make you smile as much as the brightly coloured scenery. It’s well worth a look if you’re after something a little bit different.

    PHOGS!
One of the best games of the year
If you ever wanted to know what it must be like to be catdog, phogs comes pretty close to allowing you to do just that, this is a physica based 7 hour long 3d platformer where you play a 2 headed dog, red a blue.. and this game can be played solo or local coop, however after playing through the tutorial in coop, id advise against it as I cen see this being much for frustrating, especially since it seems that one player controls commands of both players, so it can be quite annoying when you bite onto something and then them biting makes you unbite, not sure if this is a bug or mor related to the fact I was playing wit ha ps5 controller and my girlfriend was playing with a ps4 controller, but phogs is one of the most fun games ive played all year and Is a sleeper hit.. it deserves for you to go out and play right now… this game consist of 3 main hub worlds, and each hub world containing 6 levels and 1 boss level,.. every world having their own gimmicks and feel to stop phogs from feeling to repetitive, youll be going through these levels, solving its pizzls, collecting golden dog bones to unlock cosmetics, and helping the inhabbitents of each hub world.. first there is whats probably my least favorite world, the sweets and snacks world…this is the most puzzle focused and most exhausting world of the whole game, a lot of moving objects through the level so that you can feed a snake and travel to the next section… theres also a dream world which is more so a babys first version of the snacks world, but rather than a lot of monuverings food about the levels, youll be playing with light, making platforms and walls appear and disappear, some really cool moments through these levels, and then finally there is in my opinion the best section of the game, the section worth buying this game for alone.. that’s right, I feel like you could buy this game, just play through the beach orld levels and leave happy and satisfied, and you can do jut that as PHOGS! Lets you play this game in any order youd like.. the variety and charm within this world is Mario galaxy level.. it never stops being fun and I wish so bad the rest of the games hubs were this varied and fun, phogs could’ve been close to masterpiece status if that were the case, here youll be playing through arcage games, playing mini golf, playing tennis with the worlds boss… The beach world is Nintendo level good and it what ultimately makes phogs am ust have game…
While there clearly isa section of levels tha steals the show for me, there is so much fun and even frustration to be had with PHOGS!, one of the greatest surprises of the year.
    I give PHOGS!
    an 8/10
