May 30, 2021Unable to run is a big let down in this game. You constantly have to do fetch quests and require you to walk around alot. You want this weapon then go and fetch this item, you want this item go and fetch that item. World feels to empty. Some people might like this game but this is not for me. Pixelart looks amazing though.

Jun 12, 2021Cool RPG, the Noir and police esthetic from the 40's (or 50's) movies is great, great soundtrack (perfect for Jazz lovers). Lovely pixel art. Some original and crazy ideas. Too slow in some parts, and not the best aiming control. However Is a recommended one.

Jul 22, 2021Pecaminosa does have a lot to offer; a rich world and an interesting cast of characters. Sadly the stale gameplay can hold it back at times.

Jun 11, 2021Pecaminosa is a perfect little game to spend a weekend with. It won’t challenge you, it doesn’t last long, and the atmosphere is enough to warrant a look from any noir fan. I can’t help but feel like you might be better off playing it on steam, but you’d still have pages of exhausting dialogue to sit through. I suppose that’s all really subjective, but Pecaminosa misses the mark more than it hits for my money.

Jun 8, 2021The combat is simple, using controls similar to a twin-stick shooter, but that simplicity can get repetitive over the course of the game. If you’re patient, there’s something here to enjoy. How often do we get noir detective RPGs on the Switch, after all? But you’re going to have to be prepared to put up with a lot of rough edges.
