This game is just plain bad. Don't get it. Boycott future games.

This game is just a super-fun good time. The premise is simple: Walk around at a house party (wearing a hockey mask) while you stealthily kill each party-goer, one by one, without being noticed. You can kill them with a well-timed stab, a poisoned drink, or, in one case, directing them to be a devoured whole by a monstrous creature whose eye-hole doubles as a razor-sharp maw. You can get creative.

There is a bit of a story to the game, but it's secondary to the satisfaction of wiping out a party of 40 people and then dancing amidst the scattered corpses.

The game is not without challenge, however, and you will need to restart certain levels many times before you figure out the best way to lead individuals to their demise without getting caught by the police, beaten to a pulp by a hulking bouncer, or killed by a chainsaw-wielding maniac.

I'd say the only downside is that once you've beaten it and had your fill, there's little reason to play it again, but if you snag it on sale, it's worth the money.

Really fun and neat concept. Wish they would just keep updating this game rather than that mediocre sequel. Some of the level design is pretty flawed but a very fun game nonetheless.

Love the game! It has a few glitches but so far very entertaining. Personally it was a bit too easy for me. Finished the game + DLC within a couple of days but still continue playing with friends/family.

The potential for boredom is there, then, but the reward of finally killing all patrons after taking your time is a strong, satisfying one. Additionally, the mixture of an upbeat techno soundtrack, hilariously shocking gameplay, and a decent number of unlockable extras – as well as a fun multiplayer mode – make this a fine (if sometimes samey) experience.

The bloody indie strategy game lands on Nintendo Switch while we wait for its second part. Short but fun, especially if you play with a friend.

With its immense amount of content and a very healthy lifespan, Party Hard is a game that should be on the radar of everyone looking for something with plenty of action and with some unique gameplay elements, with its experience being spoiled only by a long learning curve and a few AI issues.
