    It took us a little while to get to grips with Party Hard 2. After getting arrested a dozen or so times for using our knife a bit too much, we slowed down a bit and found that there’s actually an abundance of options available to you once you look out for them. There’s a lot of creativity on display here (if you ignore the fact that the game is basically a condensed Hitman), and while it can get frustratingly tricky at times, it’s nevertheless a fun way to let off some steam.

    Party Hard 2 is not exactly your typical party game...or a party game at all, for that matter. On the contrary, it's an anti-party game, in the sense that players will have to murder party goers and revelers in order to get a quiet night. Concept aside, Party Hard 2 works quite well in its mechanics and it delivers a good dose of fun, for those who can handle the thought that the game's 'hero' is a killer of party goers, that is.

    1) Dispose of single people
    2) Try to be stealthy and hide them
    3) Use items
    4) Use traps
    5) If someone sees you - you run from the cops

    1) This is the only mechanic that works in the game, one strike - one kill (not always though) but ok, this just works as it's really hard to break that thing down
    2) So to be stealthy you need to dispose of people when no one sees them - and essentially hide bodies. But the problem is that there are not enough room on the level to hide all the bodies, considering that the optional objective might be "kill them all" which means killing ALL THE PEOPLE here - then this is simply impossible. But ok, that's actually not an issue as it's not important thing to do, so ok, this works as well
    3) Items - in the first game there were not so many items and completely all of them were useful and pretty intuitive. And here you have tons of items on each level but like half of them are completely useless. What is timer and what does it do? Why do you need a condom? It's not a crafting ingredient. Why do you need bulletproof vest? You can presume that it protects, but no, cops and guards one-shoot you either way, so what tf are these things are for? Even more than that - items generate randomly, and lets' presume that you need a shocker or flash grenade to kick someone out to complete optional objective. But oh, look, none of the items for knocking off non-lethally didn't spawn this time, bad for you, try to restart after you already spent like 15 minutes into the level. Seems that developers didn't play the game and test the mechanics, how can you put objectives that require specific items but don't necessarily spawn these items? Instead here, take a donuts or useless timer and have a nice day!
    4) Traps are great mechanic, but half of the traps on the level are spawned in useless spots where no one ever gets. Here you can blow up some barrel, but no one ever stands near that barrel. Yes, you can use boombox to lure people to the spot, but guess what? It may not spawn, and on certain levels it never spawns. So what tf are you supposed to do with it? I don't know, and no one on the forums or in steam comments know. So this is broken as well
    5) There were shortcuts in the first game and you could just teleport to other side of the level and essentially run from cops as they stop chasing you, or you could just try to run from them long enough for them to give up, which was harder. And if you used shortcut - it got closed afterwards. So this was one-time get out of jail card. This was fair and understandable. But here shortcuts are useless - because there are 2 cops and when they see that you used it - one of them stays and bust you up if you jump backwards, and the other one runs to you. And they run much faster then you, because your guy loose stamina in like 3 seconds. And that's it. The only way to evade them is to use donuts. In all the other times - it's 99% level restart. Though one time I managed to get away because one of the cops were accidentally moved over by an ambulance, but that is like 1100 chance. Yes, you can use traps if you're lucky enough to be near them, as again - you have a speed of snail and there are just couple of instant traps that you can use in certain conditions. But in 99% of the cases - it's restart. More than that - there are guards! Who are unpredictable. One time they can't see you right in front of them, and the other time they see you from the other side of the map, run to you and kill. And you can't do anything about it as well. So it's another broken mechanic

    Overall - it's simply not fun to play, you have a constant feeling that this game just drains your time, because you constantly restart levels because of another stupid thing that you didn't expect. Like the item bugged out and didn't work, or the trap just didn't do anything, so the only efficient and predictable way of playing is simply knifing down every one of them, it's dull, boring and long, as there are like 70+ people on some maps. And when there are 5 left, then cops just casually come in and just bust you without any reason as no one seen you.

    Thought this was a good game. Actually i didn't played the first game. played maybe 5 hours, got bored, forgot about it.
