    Part Time UFO on Switch is legitimately one of my favorite games to come out this year. The main adventure itself remains excellent, while the new additions and modes augment the experience and increase the content substantially. Because of these new elements, adding $4 to the price tag of the game seems entirely justified to me.     A fun unique game from the makers of kirby. When I purchased this game I didn't know it first came out on mobile, but the controls translated well to switch. The gameplay may be repetitive for some, although the game is short enough that I didn't feel that way. I recommend anyone into physics based puzzle games to pick up this game.

    This game is pure gba era design, and one of the best puzzle platformers of all time. I can't believe this was originally for mobile, it is a very high quality game, and i hope to see more like it, or even a sequel going forward. I paid something like eight usd for this, and it is more than worth that amount.

    If I have a criticism, and hopefully someone involved in the making of the game will read reviews, it is that the goal system needs to be fixed. Some goals, such as "find the criminal" are too on the nose, once you know there is a criminal it becomes very easy to do. This would be much better left unsaid, and then the player can discover it for themselves. Other goals like "everything has to be upright" should be explicitly stated OR hidden until after your ffirst completion like in Captain toad. Also I would like more goals per level, because they really add depth.

    Overall I love this game, and recommend it to anyone with good taste.    … Expand

    What is it with HAL and puzzle games, man?! This is probably my second favorite puzzle game, right behind freaking TETRIS.

    I love crane games. Part time UFO is basically a crane game with puzzles. It's got lots of charm. Therefore I love this game.

    If you're on a budget and looking for a cheap game to play with friends then this is one of the best options.

    No pun intended, but Part Time UFO is the very definition of a pick-up-and-play effort. You know… pick up… with a claw… Ahem! Anyway, it's rewarding for short bursts and designed very well for this kind of play, with a level of polish not found in some other 'short burst' titles. It also saves some of its best surprises for the endgame.

    The variety of maps, tasks and challenges is one of the strong suits of Part Time UFO. Even though the gameplay mechanics are pretty simple, clever puzzle design keeps the player entertained for many hours. [Issue#251, p.71]
