Sep 3, 2020Has everything that Pokemon has failed to implement - larger and more open world, actual difficulty, SIDE QUESTS, multiple gameplay mechanics for capturing and battling, humor, the list goes on and on. This developer should be applauded.

Sep 1, 2020The level up system kinda sucks slow level up when only one monster levels up During battles unless you out all on the field buying items are ridiculously expensive and it’s funny how every time you attack you seem to miss but every time your opponent attacks its hit with a side affect

Aug 31, 2020It's a shame Pokemon isn't made by these guys. Please give a chance to Nexomon, this game is amazing. The visuals, the lack of tedious transitions, everything has an awesome rhytm. Even the animations and combat mechanics are much better than Pokemon Sword Shield. This game is much more of a challenge than Pokemon has well and has a much more interesting story.

Sep 10, 2020Developers are constantly making QOL updates based on user feedback. Gameplay is crisp, feedback from the first game were taken into account and implemented in Nexomon:Extinction.

Sep 12, 2020This is what Pokémon should be. It’s hard enough to challenge you and have good story that makes you want to know more. The story is breaking the same loop of Pokémon badges and Pokémon league. Give it a try it’s good

Nov 20, 2022Awesome monster collection game with a lot of great humor. The monsters have amazing design and brings back some nostalgia from the old Pokémon games.
Also nice to mention this game received nice updates/patches including a Free DLC expansion with a new area and monsters.

Sep 29, 2020Given the short number of similar games, it's always good to see the Nintendo Switch catalogue accepting more proposals of less represented endeavours. In the case of Nexomon: Extinction, it features a laudable amount and variety of creatures, appealing art style, and it's fairly simple to get into. At the same time, it's far from a groundbreaking game, though competent, and it feels like it follows its main inspirations a little too close. That said, it's a welcome arrival for those looking for more creatures to capture and collect.

Sep 25, 2020If you’ve become disillusioned with modern-day Pokemon, then Nexomon is super effective at appealing to your nostalgia. It looks great, the price is stupidly low and while it may feel derivative at times, the quality on display with this capture ‘em all experience is on par with Nintendo’s top-tier offerings.

Sep 25, 2020Nexomon: Extinction could have been a far promising title than it already is. Instead, it relies heavily on the legacy of that other huge monster-capturing franchise, copying names and elements, but not catching up with the gameplay recipe that has been improving for almost twenty-five years.
