Its definitely a 10/10 after the update(s). I waited until the difficulty was decreased and some features to help find the quest. I actually dont really need those very much at all, i appreciate a challenge but i also like the ability to get a hint if im stuck.

I rarely give out 10s. Once a year if that. This gane is a beautiful zelda 80s neon mutant cybord scifi dytopia. Its crazy. Its

Its crazy. Its 80s. Its got mutants. The gameplay is quality zelda. That gives it a 9 after the updates, was 8.

What pushes it to 10 is the 4k pixel Art. I havent seen a gane this detailed and beautiful since Horizon Zero Dawn. Its REALLY detailed though - you do need a 4k screen to really see it (on my ps4, not sure how far switch upscales).

Just sayin - buy it. Its a good game, its beautiful and its cool. 10/10 and i rarely give those (only because the updates fixed 95% of the complaints in early reviews). You gotta look at the game pre and post patch. Just wait until you beat the intro and get to neon city. Your jaw Will drop. Ive never seen such detail - and the lighting made ne think HDR was enabled but its actually not. Im serious my jaw stopped and i just looked around the city for a long time. Thats when i knew i had to comes rate it. Have a good Day guys. DEFINITELY get this One on sale or at Full Price if you need an 80s mutant zelda game now (i think it was 20)

Overall it's fun at times, but it's simply too busy and progress is too slow. However, the story and bosses are fun and the graphics are pretty good.

In terms of business, the cities are way too busy. Way too many useless people to talk to (fortunately you can put on a "lease" to help you find the important people). I also wish areas either stayed clear once you kill everyone or at

Progress is slow. They tease you in the very beginning of the game with all the super powers you can get, then strip you of them. It feels like it takes forever to get them back. The plot of the game is very clear, but the "knowing where I am supposed to go" element is brutal. It feels like you're just guessing at times.

The game is awesome , but the pricing is too high . More than 8 hours of adventure .

I recommend Neon City Riders to anyone who enjoys figuring out games themselves and exploring. Beautiful open world with interesting puzzles and boss fights. A top notch soundtrack. Highly recommended

Neon City Riders definitely scores points as a tough, uncompromising, pixel-art-based brawler. Unfortunately, as an open-world adventure, it’s simply too hollow and empty to satisfy players with a desire to explore every nook and cranny.

You can't ask for a better beginning from a small Studio, Neon City Riders is a great metroidvania experience. of course, it needs to fix some technical issues, but when you dive in what the game has to offer you will find yourself ignoring some the problems you encountered along the way.

Neon City Riders promises an epic open-world action-adventure set in a vibrant '80s sci-fi world, but its action and writing are far too flat and clunky to back up its initial promise. It looks and sounds a treat in places, but lacklustre execution makes for a punishing, repetitive and confounding experience. Pull away that admittedly amazing pixel-heavy packaging and you've got a game that fails to make a lasting impression in any meaningful manner.
