Strides ahead of the original, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2's chaotic quick-time FMV sequences are stunning, and as the game focuses on a fan-favourite arc, the source material is stellar. The salient story is let down by the trudging of a back and forth around the world map, which serves no real purpose aside from stretching the game out. Its visual prowess has been somewhat blurred by its Nintendo Switch release, but it still plays excellently for those who want to try it.

The competence of plot conversion from manga to the game was still great. All characters are fun to play as as well as against. I adore fightsThe competence of plot conversion from manga to the game was still great. All characters are fun to play as as well as against. I adore fights in this series! Fights are even better than in the previous game, but man oh man, maps and moving across/between them are awful (maps as the maps outside the battles)!! To be honest, I give it 6/10, one less in comparison to the prequel thanks to the maps and thanks to the running through them from point A to point B and back with no fast travel (until u finish the main plot). Great game with bad gameplay between fights xD Full Review »
