    At its heart, Minecraft Dungeons is the sort of release that feels like it rides on the coattails of greater games a little too much. If this game did not have the Minecraft branding, it’s not much of a leap to assume that it would scarcely garner any attention based purely on its own merits. The gear system, combat, level design, and presentation is all fine and entertaining in its own right, but there’s little here that we could point to that elevates this game alongside or above peers such as Torchlight II, Diablo III or Path of Exile. Bearing this in mind, we’d give Minecraft Dungeons a very light recommendation to those of you looking for a surface-level introduction to the ARPG genre or for something to play in co-op with the kids. If that doesn’t describe you, then we’d suggest going with either Torchlight II or Diablo III, which both offer a more substantial and fulfilling experience of this genre.

    Mojang and Double Eleven offer us a fun game, with nice mechanics, easy to understand, but surely they could have done more. Is the game fun? Yes, although a little more content is missing. We trust that the content that is on the way will continue to entertain us for a longer time.

    While the overall brevity and lesser level diversity is disheartening, Minecraft Dungeons is an enjoyable experience. It’s much harder to recommend as a solo player, but if you’re able to hang out on the couch and knock out some creepers with a pal or head online and smash up mobs with a buddy, the weaker elements can wash away. I had a good time playing Minecraft Dungeons. I just wish there was a little more to it.

    The game is not there yet on Switch. Although I feel the game is good enough as a game, having also played it on PC, on Switch it is marred byThe game is not there yet on Switch. Although I feel the game is good enough as a game, having also played it on PC, on Switch it is marred by a very poor port that struggles to keep the framerate up. Having played Diablo 3 on Switch, which maintained a competent 60fps most of the time, coming to Minecraft Dungeons which is locked at max 30fps, and struggles to even go in to the 20s in dungeons, it does not bode well for this game. On PC, playing 2 people, adds a lot more mobs on the screen and I just don't see how the Switch will be able to cope in that situation seeing as it struggles so much with just one player.

    The game just frequently freezes and a lot of crashes! Also content at this time in the game are not so much.
