A solid port and one of the best business sim / management games on the Switch.

Could do with a bit of tweaking and extra detail but all in all it’s a fun little management sim. Look beyond the graphics and it can get quite addictive and challenging. I’ve experienced the odd blip so I save the game more often especially if I’ve been grinding away at a campaign - to ensure I don’t suddenly lose all my hard work!

Its experience ends up suffering from a control system that makes no use of the Nintendo Switch touch screen, however, and the game's interface is everything but intuitive. Beyond that and its unusual premise, which is likely to keep less experienced players away, Megaquarium is worthy of a look.

A fairly tight and enjoyable sim. The campaign scenarios introduce you to all of its systems very gradually, and there’s plenty of freedom to customise your aquariums exactly how you please – even if they’re arguably not as interesting to build and look at as theme parks and cities. But each to their own.

A solid strategy-builder game, suitable for entry and advanced players with some knowledge of fish. It is also one better suited for other platforms.
