I saw this game on the on-line store, I have always liked Mech games and decided for twenty bucks, maybe it'll be good. Well, here's my review. The game is basically a dungeon explorer, I mean that in the sense of very linear game play. You don't get much freedom at all in where you go, also, it plays like many mobile games do. To attack you can tap A all you want but it's pointless, asI saw this game on the on-line store, I have always liked Mech games and decided for twenty bucks, maybe it'll be good. Well, here's my review. The game is basically a dungeon explorer, I mean that in the sense of very linear game play. You don't get much freedom at all in where you go, also, it plays like many mobile games do. To attack you can tap A all you want but it's pointless, as you can just hold A and your mech attacks everything in sight. The design of the mechs are decent though, and there are abilities that make you deal more damage. The story is bland, very bland and not engaging at all. The idea is you pick a team of three mechs and switch out one at a time during battle to repair(heal). It's an okay game for anyone who really, really, really loves mechs. Aside from that, you can probably get the same satisfaction from something off your phone or tablets mobile store for free. Expand

Though the core experience functions as intended, Mecha Storm doesn't do enough to distances itself from its mobile release and ends up falling flat on the Nintendo Switch.
