    I haven't been this happy with a game in years. It's clearly inspired by the Mass Effect series and yet adds to it in design quality. The ship and missions feel lively at all times, as there is constant conversation and banter going on. When it was over, I missed this found family immediately. Even as a GotG fan, this is by far my favorite Marvel content ever made, including the movies,I haven't been this happy with a game in years.     Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
    A Great single player experience
    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a 15 hour long 3rd person action adventure game where you play as Starlord, here ypull be going through a vierty of locations with the other guardians of the glaxy.. of course on a mission to save the glaxy.. the writing an banter bwteen the charcters is amazing, and theres some awesome    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a 15 hour long 3rd person action adventure game where you play as Starlord, here ypull be going through a vierty of locations with the other guardians of the glaxy.. of course on a mission to save the glaxy.. the writing an banter bwteen the charcters is amazing, and theres some awesome story telling across this 80 filled adventure,
    Youll be going forward through these linear sections, dealing with obstacles in the way and uing the other guradians to progress such as groot making a bridge or drax tipping things over or breaking walls.. and then there will be a fight, enemies will swarm you and you use your abilities and command the other 4 guardians for them to do teir special moves, and youll be able to fill up a meter to huddle up for some extra damage and listen to some classic 80s tunes while you kick alien butt.. at first this is all really fun, but eventually it just becomes tiresome, combat is so repetitive and a slog to get though due to how spongy enemies are, it just never feels satisfying and was my least favorite part of the game.. I enjoyed the traversing and problem solving, dealing with waves of bullet sponges, not so much…
    That’s being said, marvels guardians of the galaxy is a crazy goofy adevnute, there are great action pieces here.. the world is fun to get around, the writing is hilarious at times, and I loved the incorporation of 80s music,
    The game does overstay its welcome for somone not really a fan of the IP, but this is still a great game to run through

    Story is awesome, graphics is top notch, gameplay is really fun. Marvel's Avengers should have been something like this.

    The input lag is SO BAD! Audio can't keep up and is choppy. Can't even stop the camera in the correct place since it overshoots where you'd want stop the camera. Cloud gaming on Switch (at least this game) is garbage.

    After the disappointing performance of Marvel´s The Avengers, "Marvel´s Guardians of the Galaxy" feels like an excuse which is almost impossible not to accept. It´s incredible well written story really fits the template of the comics, including characters, atmosphere and humor - all served without any microtransactions! Yet, there´s a little too much idle in many moments of the gameplay toAfter the disappointing performance of Marvel´s The Avengers, "Marvel´s Guardians of the Galaxy" feels like an excuse which is almost impossible not to accept. It´s incredible well written story really fits the template of the comics, including characters, atmosphere and humor - all served without any microtransactions! Yet, there´s a little too much idle in many moments of the gameplay to push the game in higher spheres. But if you´re in for a more than solid experience - no matter if you´re already familiar witht the franchise or not - then Marvel´s Guardians of the Galaxy is a really good choice.… Expand

    Cool interactive adventure in the campaign of the most idiotic weirdos in all the galaxy, the main thing to praise the game for is the interaction and chemistry of the characters, the same gameplay needs to be improved in terms of improved shooting and animations. In general, the game looks great visually, the soundtrack is just incredible (thanks to the music of the 80s!), and the scriptCool interactive adventure in the campaign of the most idiotic weirdos in all the galaxy, the main thing to praise the game for is the interaction and chemistry of the characters, the same gameplay needs to be improved in terms of improved shooting and animations.     Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a great game. I would like to give it top marks, but in spite of all the good design elements, cool soundtrack, and very good dialogue and voice acting, the Switch’s cloud version connection issues are a problem I can’t just overlook.

    While there is a great game somewhere in here, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version has many, baffling issues seemingly exclusive to this version. On top of not being comparable to other console versions, it somehow performs even worse to the point of being almost unplayable most of the time. As usual, your results may vary depending on internet connection, but this version still needs a lot of work.

    I genuinely enjoyed my time with Guardians of the Galaxy, but I couldn’t bring myself to continue playing the mess that it is on Switch. While my high-speed internet connection should be easily able to run this game smoothly, it is clear that this version was an afterthought. The characters, story, music, and gameplay are all completely up my alley, but having to play the game in this sluggish way—and of course having to play via an internet connection—made for quite a miserable experience. I’m 100% I will pick up Guardians of the Galaxy somewhere down the road, but the Cloud Version should be skipped by anyone even remotely interested in what’s on offer here.
