    Mario Kart 8 DX is, by far, the best MK game in the series so far. It's wide variety of retro and nitro tracks makes each one memorable in it's own way. Finding the fastest shortcuts is incredibly fun and working on time trials is one of the best parts of the game. Although there are several problems with the local multiplayer, it's one of the best games on the Switch for this. The onlyMario Kart 8 DX is, by far, the best MK game in the series so far. It's wide variety of retro and nitro tracks makes each one memorable in it's own way. Finding the fastest shortcuts is incredibly fun and working on time trials is one of the best parts of the game. Although there are several problems with the local multiplayer, it's one of the best games on the Switch for this. The only drawback is that the Online mode is filled with people playing with maximum combos and overly complicated tactics, but this can be overlooked as singleplayer is, in my opinion, the most fun way to play this game.… Expand

    Theres not that much to really work for, and what there is barely does anything, once you've unlocked all the parts, you've pretty much seen it all. But it is a amazing game with plenty of replay value.

    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is fun to play with other people, but gets boring when on your own. The AI's seem to get items when they want to, and have as many as they want.

    That said, it is still a good game and is worth your money.

    This game is crazy. It's an absolute must play and is always fun. Nintendo really nailed it with this one. The characters, tracks, and karts are all well made and exciting to use in gameplay.

    I recently purchased Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for my Nintendo Switch and I must say, it's an absolute blast to play! The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is smooth and seamless. The selection of characters and tracks is impressive, giving players plenty of options to choose from. I especially love the addition of the new battle mode, which adds an extra layer of excitement to the game.I recently purchased Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for my Nintendo Switch and I must say, it's an absolute blast to play!     + Chaotic fun in all the right places
    + Roster of tracks (new and retro!) is absolutely astounding
    + Graphics are delightful and just about as good-looking as it gets on the Switch
    + Dual-items mechanic makes its much-needed return
    + Racing and kart control is slick and feels great

    Magnifique jeu qui permet de jouer seul ou entre amis avec des combinaisons de persos et de l’arts nombreuses. Je trouve pratiquement toutes les courses très belles (certaines du DLC ne sont pas assez travaillées comme Amsterdam ainsi que l’herbe vert fluo qui me fait mal aux yeux) et le mode en ligne est très sympa et assez dur quand on arrive à un certain point pour ne pas nous ennuyer.Magnifique jeu qui permet de jouer seul ou entre amis avec des combinaisons de persos et de l’arts nombreuses. Make yourself a favor and watch a few world records of some tracks in Youtube so you can see what I'm talking about. Online is so addictive and funny and even today on July 2023 there are a lot of people playing. Tracks are well designed and someMust play.     Il gioco è divertente e leggero, è un ottimo passatempo anche con gli amici, ha solo un piccolo difetto ovvero che c'è un eccessivo sbalzo tra i vari livelli di difficolta ma ciò non rende l'esperienza negativa poiché nessuno ti obbliga a giocare a un livello alto.

    I could play this game every day honestly. I love Mario Kart, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best from the series and my favorite racing game of all time. Inject more racing games like this into my bloodstream Nintendo.

    Hate the blue shell though, why a power up that doesnt help the one who gets it and is only good for making the 1st place get 2nd, but thats not why it isnt a 10 haha just the one thing i dont like about the game.
    Love the stable 60 fps and wish Nintendo would pursue for it more times.

    This game is the most rigged game I have ever seen!!! Never before have I been leading the entire race with a large gap and suddenly without any obstacles in my way I start getting hit by absolutely everything when I'm about 300 feet from the finish line to always end up in 3rd,4th or whatever! Makes me want to throw my vonroller right out the window

    Otro juegazo de Nintendo. Tras 50 horas de juego creo que tengo la capacidad de hacer más o menos un análisis objetivo. En el apartado técnico es simplemente espectacular. Probablemente es el juego de Nintendo que mejor se ve teniendo en cuenta sus 60 fps estables y una calidad gráfica muy buena. En cuanto a jugabilidad, es muy divertido. Nunca te vas a aburrir jugando a este juego (yOtro juegazo de Nintendo. Tras 50 horas de juego creo que tengo la capacidad de hacer más o menos un análisis objetivo. Cada mapa, cada vehículo, cada personaje y cada powerus son únicos, dotando a cada uno de ellos de una gran personalidad. El multijugador también va muy bien: sin lagazos, como en otros juegos de Switch, y con una matchmaking correcto. Los únicos ptoblemas que le veo al juego son quizas los escasos modos de juego, la escasez de mapas tras bastantes horas de juego y que no se haya añadido prácticamente nada con respecto a la versión de Wii U. A pesar de eso, es un juego muy recomendable para todos los públicos y una obligación para un possedor de una Nintendo Switch. 9/10

    A lot of circuits and cups, as a negative point it could have a slightly more modern online system but it is something anecdotic, a mandatory purchase for people who have Nintendo switch

    It MARIO KART in perfect.
    Its a really good Party game and also fun in singelplayer (but i recommend to play it in Multiplayer).
    The game runs at 60Fps and the Online mode is also really great (rarely lags).
    I would recommend it to all Switch owners.

    Looks nice, but it is not as good as Mario Kart Tour which is really fun due to point system in races as well as fun characters and numerous karts and gliders. I find 8 Deluxe extremely boring in comparison.

    i'm not sure a review wouid've been positive before the dlc, it was the same game as the one on wii u with two items instead of one.
    the dlc is adding more maps, some good some bad, but it's something more, finally.

    Cela étant, le jeu est beau et de ce que j'ai tenté de jouer, tout à fait fluide (il semble tenir ses 60 im/s sans faillir) et les temps de chargement sont assez courts. D'autant que je précise avoir tenté d'y jouer sur la switche en mode portable. Cela nous fera donc un point (quand même) au lieu de zéro.     I didn't play many Mario Kart games before but this one on Switch is a great party game. On one screen with four players, you never know whether you can be the first to the finish line no matter how far you lead. I generally don't play it solo or try to improve my skills, thus I can always find some interesting path when I play it with my friends and usually, I am not the first.

The graphics are good especially for a Switch game, most of the courses (looking at you Baby Park) are enjoyable both online and against A.I and you can play it anywhere you want at any time. The DLC makes the game even better by adding new characters (currently only Birdo but there will most likely be more), new tracks from previous titlesBy far one of the best games I have ever played! Very fun with friends and seeing who would get screwed over the most. With the dlc coming out, this game is new and fresh again, and will be held as one of the best mario kart games ever.

    A staple for any Switch owner, Mario Kart 8 is great fun for family and friends with how it has almost a hundred maps (with the DLC), each of which is unique and beautiful to look at. Definitely a game that'll have immense replay value.

    This is easily the best mario kart game ,I have a lot of fun with it and the majority of the coures are great like tick tock clock, electrodome, sunshine airport, toad harbour, great versions of bowser´s castle and rainbow road and many more.
    Oh, and the battle mode is great.

    Fun in single player for a while, but multiplayer is where you want to play. Sadly, it's plagued with disconnection issues. According to reviews of Splatoon 3, this is a widespread issue on Nintendo Switch.

    It's just Mario Kart 7 but with anti-gravity. Not enough was innovated, it was a very uninspired entry that was heavily based on the previous title.

    Great game to play with friends or family. Nice tracks, with several tricks that makes each race/battle a surprise. This is a must play game, everyone should at least try it.
    The only thing that I would change would be the team races - there could be several teams (let's say, six teams of 2, 3 teams of 4 and so on).

    Played Mario Kart for the first time ever...

    And i can say that it may be fun with friends, but and a solo player, it gets boring really fast. There is no content for the game, besides race and battle, there is no sense of completion nor of achievement.     One of like the three games my wife will actually play. It genuinely is a load of fun, so long as you don't play it a crazy amount. Once you've beaten every cup, the repetition can get grating if you let it.

    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has the best character and track roster of any Mario kart game even without its DLC, and then proceeds to compromise itself by intending the use of DLC to literally double the number of tracks in it. This means once the servers go down, you lose access to a whopping half of all the intended number of tracks.

    This is an AMAZING game. It is a gorgeous game visually. I don't dislike any tracks (except for that one desert stage). And it has amazing battle mode, and amazing multiplayer. Great game.

The Battlemode is now complete with 5 modes (1 brand new) and on battle arenas, not on the racing tracks. The HD Rumble feels pretty awesome, you can feel the turning wheels on the start, the drifts and the coins you catch on the track.

    There's really no way any racing game will outpace this one. Beautiful, smooth, charming, and tons of fun. The only downside to this version is that there isn't much to unlock or earn. Otherwise, the best party game for switch.

    You press a button on the barebones title screen and then get trown into the barebones gameplay with lame tracks that can be finished in like 50 seconds - under 2 minutes. This game is painfully shallow and the tracks aren’t well designed or interesting. 60 dollars please. I wish I could get my money back :/

    The best Mario Kart! As a casual you are getting everything you want from this game. Many tracks and characters, a good online and battle mode. The only thing i would have wanted more of is unlockable Tracks or achievements or something in this direction.

    So Mario kart 8 deluxe is the latest release in the franchise and first of all, it is amazing how simplistic they made everything for new comers. Ask anyone that doesn't play video games what game have they played and there gonna probably say mario kart. A big contributing factor to that is the "I'm a **** setting". Turning this on will not let you fall of the map. So basically you can just hold gas and play. This might sound dumb as **** but.... lets say your playing with your little brother, or your trying to get your girlfriend in to gaming or your doing hard drugs so the screen keeps moving around on the wall and you keep falling off of rainbow road so you just say **** it.....

    Before even starting a race you have an option to choose a character and parts for your vehicle. As simple as this is, it does pack a huge impact on the game. If you play on 50cc, get that full speed baby, but if you playing on 200cc yeah get that **** speed out my face I need some acceleration so I can strat driving after hitting the wall for the 90th time.

    The modes are lacking. Well at least in the single player department. Compared to other entries before it, Mario kart 8 lakhs a story mode or single player challenges. I remember the ds missions in Mario kart ds, which as a kid, just gave you something to do on a car ride. Mario kart 8 you won't be playing this game much by yourself.

    My biggest issue with the game is item balancing. Now you have two item slots. And yes, you can get two sets of three red shells. Now imagine how absolutely ****ing herendes it is to get hit by that. In the end of a gaming session with your friends you go from best buds to "You ****ing piece of **** ; "Another red shell you **** hole" ; "I'll kill your family and make you watch" ; "I hope hitler will be ****ing you once you go to hell"

    The maps are in my opinion a nice mix up. You have some old cl****ics and some new whipper snapper that will become old cl****ics when the next game comes out. The best map is Big Blue cuzzz uhuhuhuhu ....... The timer starts ticking down. 3... 2... 1... and your emidietly blasted forward with boost pads already under you and then you have these slick turns and and then music goes like dan .. dan dan .. dan.. dan dan ..... this my jam map.

    So how good was Mario kart 8 deluxe actually? If you have a group of friends you love playing with, it's a must buy. Even if you'll end up screeming at eachother and the **** you'll still have a blast. It's a 8/10. for sure.

    Ow one more thing. Nintendo this is a 5 year old game, which is a port of Mario kart 8 from 2014 released on the Wii U. Can it not be 60$ anymore? Come on, daddy has to pay rent somehow.    … Expand

    This game is a must have if you own a Nintendo Switch. It's still the best party kart racing that the title is known for, there are decent clones out there but this game just perfectly runs so smooth on the Switch, nice fun friendly racing and battle mode experience for everyone.

    The roster is big. There's some questionable characters in it (Pink Gold Peach and Baby Rosalina to be specific) but it's overall solid. I love the inclusion of the Koopalings!

    Kinda sad to see some low scores by people who think the AI is cheating while this game is definitely one of the easiest in the series. If you want a challenge though, you can hop into multiplayer.

    There's a lot of content and variety. You can play this game for many hours and not get bored of it. There's 5 different battle modes to enjoy. A big improvement on the previous games.

    You could see Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as an easy port, because it is to a certain extent. But it would be silly to disregard the ultimate fun this kart experience offers because of this. If you have a Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an essential purchase you will play for over three years and never regret buying.

    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a refinement rather than a remaster, but one that corrects the few flaws of its predecessor. It would be nice if there was just a bit more new content to help justify the full price release, or if you didn't have to unlock kart mods all over again, but for the foreseeable future, this is the definitive – and best – Mario Kart experience.
