    It's actually refreshing playing a game that doesn't try to be expansive, and instead focuses on neat, high quality gameplay loops.

    Would be a great game if not for the massive difficulty issues. It starts off *way* too easy and eventually becomes *way* too hard. I almost quit playing because there was no challenge at first, and I ended up not finishing because it becomes so punishing and grinding isn't fun (I actually do enjoy grinding in many games, just not this one. Your only option is to replay the same tiny maps near your level over and over and it's just not fun). The middle of the game, however, is quite enjoyable.

    It's basically a Final Fantasy Tactics like game that takes place in 2 dimensions. At first, the movement limits make combat a cluster**** with all your characters stuck together, but later, you get move speed increases and such and it's better.
