Jun 3, 2023Playing time, about 10-15h
Vacuum Cleaning is fun. It has some interesting mechanics, both in the vacuum cleaner upgrades as well as other skills of Luigi.
Difficulty increases after a few levels/floors, rather too hard for kids. Many puzzles are fun, but some are hard to figure out on your own, which is a bit frustrating.
The controls are rather poor, which could have been done much better. -

Jan 17, 2023The graphics are some of the best for the Switch but I found the game a bit repetitive and annoying.
-
Jan 1, 2023The game is certainly high quality: tons of detail, looking great even in handheld mode.
however I didn't find it very enjoyable: it has limited gameplay, there's not much challenge and not much replayability. -
Dec 4, 2022There is no way to invert the y-axis. The level B2 is incredibly annoying, look it in internet, the rubber duck controls are a pain in the ass, making it to difficult for a children game.

Mar 13, 2022Ludacris Fun! Deeply enjoyed all the levels. Sometimes the controls are tricky but the imagination of this game is priceless!

Nov 22, 20211 was better, didn’t play 2 so don’t know about that one. Minion ghosts are boring and bosses too gimmicky. The comedy is lame. Hyper compartainmentalized, misses the sense of adventure in 1 and some floor themes are stupid. Really disliked the cat padding sections.
-
Nov 16, 2021The artwork and animation are fantastic, but the game lacks interesting puzzles and an atmosphere that would instill any sort of fear or initimidation.

Apr 18, 2021Beautiful visuals, great puzzles, atmosphere that is both creepy and funny... But whoever designed the control scheme deserves getting fired.

Feb 2, 2021Took awhile for game play to get started. Seemed like it was going to be a big game. However the end felt rushed. Beating the hotel owner. Then immediately king boo. They could have done a little more with the ending of the story line. Instead of saving Mario and princess in 1 shot. Total disappointment.

Oct 29, 2020Beautiful, but so frustrating. Most of the game is casual and fun, until you get to a boss where the difficulty is cranked up to 11 most times. Controlling that floaty was nigh impossible.
-
Oct 25, 2020Gave up playing half-way through main story after back-tracking, monotonous levels and awkward controls proved too annoying. Do you enjoy games where you gradually improve by learning new mechanics—rather than fight the poor implementation of 2-3 core moves? This ain't it. Expectations were high based on metascore and the “Nintendo” badge, but this is second/third-tier stuff from the big N.

Oct 12, 2020It is a worth playing game. Fun enough to play until the end, not so good replay value. Interesting mechanics, a funny story, and good animations. On the contrary, it has a very low difficulty, puzzles easy to solve, and gameplay at some point becomes repetitive.
-
Oct 4, 2020Good to play with girlfriend / friends. I found it too casual to enjoy it while playing alone. It's all about exploration and didn't fell in love with the gameplay mechanics. Very easy too.
-
Sep 17, 2020great art & production design, cool ambience & sounds, unfortunately it is a good looking game that simply isn't much fun to play, controls are constantly awkward and progression feels more like a chore than a desire. some of the boss fights are downright annoying.

Sep 1, 2020I like Dark Moon on 3DS, but this part didn't appeal to me. Maybe because 3DS was more of a portable console, and the style of this game suited me for such portable and occasional playing. In LM3 I do not feel it at all, I miss the diorama effect present in DM. The game is certainly suitable for family gaming, but it's definitely worse game than its predecessors.

Jul 24, 2020Its definitely worth playing, but absolutely not worth replaying it. Slow paced and extremely linear.Game feels way too drawn out for the sake of making it longer. Game is incredibly easy even for a luigis mansion game.

Jun 4, 2020Luigi’s third solo adventure is the ultimate evolution of it’s formula. A game well designed to be fun either playing alone or with company. Also, it’s visuals and ambiance are incredible.

Nintendo Force MagazineApr 30, 2020Despite some misgivings with the extras, the actual core Luigi's Mansion 3 experience is one of the best adventures of 2019. [Issue #44 – January/February 2020, p. 64]
