Oct 15, 2019It's a basic needle platformer with some minimalist art style. It's not too brutal and you can place your own checkpoints, just don't place them on a moving platform or you'll spawn kill yourself infinitely. It lost my progress, which feels like the biggest sin. So it's mediocre enough to get through it, but game breakers that can easily be programmed out are still here.

Feb 25, 2019Overall if you like the aesthetic and want to spend an afternoon or more with a great little platformer then you can’t go wrong with LOVE. It’s a very attractive price and you get a unique game that you’d actually come back to now and then.

Feb 25, 2019It may be a simple game but working through Love's tricky stages is pretty fun. I just wish there were more of them to master.

Feb 19, 2019Even with all the options available for changing up the difficulty players will likely find themselves getting tired of playing the same sixteen levels over and over. Add this to the fact that LOVE was already available on Switch as part of its sequel, and there’s unfortunately really no good reason to spend your money on this game outside of supporting the developer. If you’re itching for a precision platformer of this type, you’re really better off looking into kuso instead since you’ll get almost everything that LOVE offers anyways.
