    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great story loved the character amazing graphics. My issue is it felt like a movie rather than a game not enough player choices like previous Life is strange games. I felt i had controll over my Protagonist and choices had consequences, but in this game it feels like the story is progressing no matter what.
    For example {Spoiler alert} The first scene where we get a glimpse of alexs power feels so great and powerfull and i was getting intense by watching it. But its not choice based, why i cant have there the oportunity to select if i want to try controll emotions or go full lash on Mac?
    i would prefer Gabe to not be the main focus of how Alex gets more close to her powers, would love to have an option,choice where she can be more antisocial keeping away from her brother etc. Instead we just get the typical loss/grief protagonist meta thingy,
    Maybe its cause the first game struck me and make me such a fan but this game its so good but lacks alot on choices after all its suppose to be a game not a movie, i recall my self screaming on my monitor just let me play LOL. Anyway great voice acting though.    … Expand

    I turned it off as soon as I saw Haven Springs. Graphics are absolutely abysmal on switch. Will grab and play on PC when it's on sale for a few $'s. I am slowly coming to realize the only publisher who understands how to program for switch is Nintendo. Will stick to exclusives on this platform going forward.

    so bad why this game exist? i have played the game for like 10 hours straight and my eyes are burning i am trying to get a refund but i don´t think i will get it. pls don´t buy this sht

    Much to love with this game. The gameplay is great and the story is well done. Haven Springs looks very nice and the soundtrack is wonderful. Not really my type of game but True Colors really stuck with me throughout.

    My conclusion about "Life is Strange: True Colors" is very positive. It would be nice if ordinary video games today could already count on such a credible as in the player. A gripping story and real characters contribute to a great atmosphere. Especially with human fears, the loss of a close relative and dares to just say damn unpleasant things.     While there are many excellent story-driven titles in the Switch eShop, the tendency is more usually on grand tales or bold accomplishments than fleshed out characters that feel authentic. True Colors still has a compelling story to tell but what struck me most about it was a weird feeling of authenticity to the key characters. Just something in the way they interact feels far less stiff and simplistic than the norm, and often the choices I’d have for responses to situations would feel sensible within the context of the current circumstances and characters. Certainly the discovery and exploration around your character’s powers and then the process of trying to resolve the game’s central mystery in this humble Colorado town are compelling, but without the depth of the characters being there I don’t think the whole package would work as well. I’ve seen plenty of people bemoaning how the game’s gorgeous visuals have had to be compromised on the Switch, and I suppose since this is a full-priced game if you have the option of playing it on another platform (and you don’t mind the lack of the convenience of portability) that would be a reasonable choice. That said, it’s still visually striking and the character models generally look great, so take those complaints with a grain of salt.

    Love it. Probably my favourite entrance in this series. Voice acting and soundtrack was superb as always. I really liked just walking around the town and complete different sub-goals. Overall 10 out of 10 for me.

    I am a big fan of that series. I enjoyed a lot playing 'Life is strange True Colors". The storytelling is nice and really exciting. It runs beautifully on the switch.

    Love this game so much that first played it was my favorite game in series. I don't hate it now, but I still got love this game.

    I came into this game as a critic judging this game from the start. Fully expecting to delete this game and never give it a second thought. Worried about this game being to political like so many others. But I can whole heartedly say without a shadow of a doubt. I was proven wrong and I'm glad I was. We both had our fair share of graphical glitches, some were even game breaking. On my partner's playthrough none of the textures loaded during the wake of the main character's brother (Gabe Chen) so everything and everyone in that scene were textured with the default grey squares. Other than the Graphical glitches we both had, the game is pretty good… Expand

    Honestly a great game, especially for anyone who personally identifies as an empath. A couple of visual bugs and glitches on occasion, but even those are few and far between.

    Honest rating of the game would be 9 out of 10. But giving it the additional +1 to balance out prior user reviews that are obviously there for the sake of tanking a game that has LGBTQ+ representation within it.

    Amazing storytelling game. Please produce more games like this!! I only wish there was an options setting to make the interactive objects less noticable (i.e. make those white borders disappear) so that the world looks more natural and discovering those items would be more rewarding.

    Everyone should take the time to play this game. I am a huge fan of the LIS series but this was my favourite. The attention to detail is fantastic, with the ability to interact with so many people and things. I enjoyed taking the time to explore the open world and found it very relaxing. The sound track was amazing and complemented the emotive nature of the storyline. I also think they didEveryone should take the time to play this game.     its a good game with good character's, nice animation, plot and choices. could of done with some more endings and the end reveal felt kinda disappointing. The games good but it would be better if it played with her powers and the detective/mysterious aspects more, but it also made me care for the character's and story.

    Took me 6-7 hours to finish (I went for the platinum trophy) overall I believe the story is relatively decent but super slow at parts especially chapter 3, some characters were pretty annoying ESPECIALLY Ethan oh my god I don’t think i’ve been so annoyed at a character. Plot twist was pretty good and I did not expect it.     Very good story, same quality as all the other life ks strange episodes. The only con is the length as it's a bit short. The music is superb, the visuals are good enough and he story is amazing.

    A very good video game, the musical score is very well made! the small relaxing moments are welcome and even with the small awkward social interactions sometime, the story feels very well made, the overall gameplay is simple yet satisfying - From a player who never played the original life is strange games

    Más chulo estéticamente que las entregas anteriores pero la trama sabe a poco aunque tenga momentos emotivos, siento que tendrían que haber aprovechado más el poder de Alex como recurso en la trama, sobretodo en el climax

I think the characters are great and the whole motivation for Jeb as the villain was well written. However Alex surviving the fall in the end of the game was something that had me completely confused and I actually thought it was in her head. Flashback sequences build a great amount of backstory. Overall I would say play it if you like LiF but play it with game pass don't pay full price… Expand

    Simplesmente Square Enix fazendo o que faz de melhor, uma história profunda, emocionante, com a dinâmica de escolhas, o que o torna incrível.
    True colors contém o que life is strange tem de melhor, escolhas, consequências e uma história envolvente de fazer chorar.
    Se você pensa em jogar, vá sem medo, uma experiência maravilhosa que recomendo para qualquer um.

    Life is Strange: True Colors follows the tradition of the franchise's best games, bringing a rich and deep story, impeccable art and a perfect soundtrack. It is, in my opinion, the best port of 2021, and a game that nobody who likes the genre can miss.

    Life is Strange: True Colors is one of the better newer game ports in recent years on Nintendo Switch. In a lot of cases, there are big caveats to buying a newer third party game on Nintendo Switch. For Life is Strange: True Colors, there have been downgrades, but they are smartly done to preserve most of the experience and deliver an excellent portable experience. Life is Strange: True Colors has already seen further improvements following launch with a recent update. As the franchise’s debut on the Switch platform, Life is Strange: True Colors is just about everything I wanted from a port.

    Life is Strange: True Colors is a good narrative video game with simple mechanics that comes to Nintendo Switch with significant changes in its graphics. However, the great story, music, and design quality that the franchise has gotten us used to are still there.
