A very decent turn-based strategy game, mixed with elements of management tasks. I enjoyed it for about 10-15 hours before getting a bit bored with it. I'm also a bit unsure about the roguelite aspect of the game - I reckon it would be more interesting if you could build up your garrison over time, instead of having to start from 0 every run. Overall though, I very much enjoyed the game, but it just got stale way before I bothered finishing all the missions (which are basically all the same). Expand

Sometimes this game alchemy can go awry, but with some luck they can result in glimmers of hope in the form of something unexpected and fun. Starting with the mold established by titles like the glorious Dungeon Keeper 2, a great first step is that you’ll find yourself on the other side of the coin, working to thwart heroes in their quests for glory and protect your amassed horde of riches. From there it charts its own path pretty much though, and the result is a blend of strategy, a bit of tower defense, turn-based combat, and resource management. Now, at first this is a bit rocky as you’re let loose with only a moderate level of direction, and your first run will likely show growing pains as you not only try to understand how to make effective decisions, but even some fundamentals around what pitfalls to avoid and where to spend your resources most effectively to suit your preferred style. Being a roguelike, unpredictable circumstances will make this a challenge but thankfully the game’s humor and bits of originality help it to distinguish itself with plenty of flavor to enjoy for strategy fans.

I’m baffled by the amount of positive reviews this game has. I bought it thinking it was gonna mix interesting strategic choices and clever rogue like elements, somehow thinking it was gonna blend elements from Darkest Dungeon and Slay the Spire, as the general positive consensus seems to suggest that.
Do not make my same mistake.

Do not make my same mistake.
There’s absolutely nothing resembling the above masterpieces in this garbage.
The game is a dumb auto battler that basically plays by itself, there's no strategy whatsoever involved.
You will simply place monster and traps according to heroes vulnerabilities.
You’ll like this game if you like the hundreds of idle combat and auto battlers games on mobile.
Oh, and you can forget to play in handheld mode on Switch, as the text size is o small, literally unreadable. Last but not least, is full bugs, and developers don't give a damn. Stay away from this garbage, it doesn't deserve your money or your time.

Legend of Keepers is a fun roguelike that relies a bit too much on the luck of the draw. Constructing custom teams is a non-starter, which leaves players doing their best with whatever the game doles out. The font size might be an issue for some, but overall, Legend of Keepers is a pleasant not-overly-difficult way to kill twelve hours.

Legend of Keepers is a decent dungeon manager with enjoyable if overly simple combat. It does nothing badly, but also does nothing in particular well enough to stand out.

Playing the boss, in other words the villain, proves a comical, enjoyably cruel, mind crushing experience. The management tasks may become deadly repetitive, since Goblinz Studio's business plan is deliberately lacking some deeper perspective, but Legend of Keepers should deserve the title of the lightest dungeon game, as simple - and good - as that.
