Koi DX is a cheap, uninspired game that has the beginnings of some good ideas, and it fails to execute any of them in a meaningful or memorable way. Boring gameplay, mediocre art direction, and an anaemic amount of content dooms this one to insignificance. We would strongly advise you to steer clear, as you very clearly are getting what you pay for, if not less. With so many other quality games available on the eShop right now, this is one to miss.

If you’re like me, you want an easy stress free, relaxing game after a hard day of **** Easy puzzles, barely any enemies, no fighting, relaxing piano music, beautiful colors, places to explore, and it doesn’t take too long. It’s pretty mindless and that’s what I look for. So if you want to do something more than watching tv but less than using most of your brain power, this is your game. Light some candles, pour a glass of wine, sit on your couch and let the mindless game take you away. Definitely worth the 25 cents I paid. Full Review »

This game isn't a triple A game by Nintendo. It's a cute little game that's meant for relaxation, not hardcore gamers.

I bought this game on a whim because it looked pretty and it was on sale. I was expecting a relaxing, serene puzzle game. And while the gameI bought this game on a whim because it looked pretty and it was on sale. I was expecting a relaxing, serene puzzle game. And while the game has some really nice ideas, the implementation is just lousy:
-The game suffers from constant framerate issues (kind of amazing considering how simple it is and looks). Only tried in docked mode..
-The level design is all really straight forward, and are either small open areas, or linear levels with one path to follow (and with sometimes some backtracking).
-The music is pretty decent and serene, but becomes really repetitive if you take a little longer to explore every inch of a level.
-The puzzles, as far as there are any puzzles, are way too simple.
-Too short, even at the €4 sale price.

Overall it was somewhat enjoyable, but the above issues keep it from being more than that.
