Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is an awesome looking game. The small problem is the levels are a mess of enemies, yet still simple. They still manage to be enjoyable and entertaining. The major problem are the bosses. Upon each death with single player, it resets the bosses, but at least you get an egg with a random weapon, which makes the challenge feel curbed by luck.

Joe and Mac may not be as famous as Master Higgins but their debut game Caveman Ninja remains a worthy relic from the Stone Age.

Another Data East classic (from 1991) that arrives to Nintendo Switch with a pixel perfect port, fun to play and easy to share, even it it feels short (15-20 minutes to complete). A good port, even if we miss more options and extras in the emulation (like the ability to play with the arcade DIP switches).
