    Imp of the sun is a good 2D platform title that intelligently rescues part of the cultural legacy of Andean civilizations. It is a Metroidvania that, despite being problematic in some points, is beautiful, has interesting puzzles, is straight to the point, presents a moderate challenge and is very accessible to those who can't stand the labyrinthine complexity of more purist titles of theImp of the sun is a good 2D platform title that intelligently rescues part of the cultural legacy of Andean civilizations.     Imp of the Sun is a clear example of what can be done with a good story. The obvious limitations can be overlooked and you can enjoy this mythological story that takes us through the vestiges of the Inca culture and the magic of that world before the arrival of Pizarro and Cortes.

    While the graphics are terrific and the level design is highly creative, the gameplay leaves much to be desired. This game is entertaining and visually appealing but left a lot else on the table.

    Imp of the Sun isn’t a bad game at all, but with a few issues and so much choice when it comes to Metroidvanias it’s tough to recommend.
