    Very Okay. Good time killer.
I guess worth it for 11$ I got it for. A very good time killer for when you're in a train or a boring family gathering. I'd buy it just for those moments now I'm thinking if I were you :P
Negatives and issues I have with it: - The Upgrade Tree has helpful but not exciting upgrades. in DeadCells you're like 'Cool! Now I can use my vial 2 times that's surely

Negatives and issues I have with it:
    - The Upgrade Tree has helpful but not exciting upgrades. in DeadCells you're like 'Cool! Now I can use my vial 2 times that's surely gotta help me!' or 'Cool now in the next run I can get the vampire skill that heals me every time I parry' etc but in this game it's like "oh cool 1% more crit chance.... nice, I guess"
    - Very few guns and most of them are hugely unintresting or similiar/the same.
    - Very Little enemy vriety
    - Bad sound design
    - Time wasted searching for enemies until it gets highlighted
    - Bad Map
    - Very Repetitive and the floors don't change much in terms of enemies etc.
    - Bad motion Controls
    - Trashy character that is still the same when you change characters?!
    - No teleporting like Enter the gungeon so it gets frustrating
    - Bad stairs
    - No boss for the end of floor. in fact it's so random when you find the stair and there's no reason to stay and wipe every floor!
    - Scrolls SUCK! the occasional cursed scrolls suck a lot and only ruin things and not make it fun (like cursed things in enter the gungeon at least, you know what you're getting into and it gives you an advantage for a curse)
    Small bad design stuff:
    - Instead of telling you how many enemies are dead it just shows a health bar?!
    - Map can't be closed with "B"

other than this it's very basic. you run you shoot you find the door to the next floor etc
not as interesting as dead cells on enter the dungeons even thought they're both pixel-art.

tho considering how weak the library on the switch is and there's not much else to play I'd give it a buy specially on a sale! (thought they appear to be very rare for this game)

also: god I hate the main character. I'm dissapointed changing him will get you the same char but different stats. the first thing you need to do is to turn the Voice volume to 0% and disable the subtitles until you're into it I guess

First off I hate rogue-likes, I can't stand them, they're far from my type of game, and I am not particularly a fan of first person shooters, but this game is fun. Immortal Redneck seems to do something so well, so encouraging that I grew to like this game almost from the get go. While it is not the hardest rogue-like game out there it still offers quite a challenge and you will be tasked to attempt the pyramids several times before you hit a milestone, but that's one of the beauties right there, milestones. The game isn't you die, start the game over, you literally have goals and it shoves them in your face as well, showing you how far up in the pyramid you've gone, and how far left you need to go, and after beating bosses it rewards you for your good work.

There's a lot more I could say, like the smooth-enough controls, the weapon variety, the scrolls that offer perks and upgrades, and sometimes downgrades, but none of them are overly punishing, even some of them are funny and cool to work around, I feel as though the game was focused on and carefully created, removing anything that would just suck the fun factor from the game. There is a huge progression tree that makes you stronger and unlocks new characters with different stats, weapons and passive abilities, the more you play the more refreshing the game becomes, really pushing that longevity of the game, and there is at least thirty hours in my opinion worth of game play here.

The game is fantastic and I love it, and most of all I'd recommend it.

There’s a passable rogue-lite underneath a bad concept, horrible graphics and painful voice acting. I turned off voice acting and subtitles after the interminable opening cut scene. This is one of the few games I regret buying. If the core gameplay loop was better, I could overlook all if its shortcomings. City of Brass is similar and much better.

    Great fun.

You will die often as this is a rogue like where each run, you get to upgrade slightly and repeat a procedurally generated level. These upgrades take longer to aquire and make less difference the further you get though.

Good variety of weapons and enemies and a bit different to all the other fps games on switch as it takes itself less seriously.

As much as I enjoy the over the top, Duke-esque humor, this game fell a little short of my expectations as described in the eShop. Repetitive map design, cheap enemies, lots of deaths, and very blurry Nintendo 64-esque motion blur and textures almost ruin the experience. Repetitive map design, cheap enemies, lots of deaths, and very blurry Nintendo 64-esque motion blur and textures almost ruin the experience. There is no option to invert the gyro controls which sucks (if you tilt your Switch to the right, you should aim right, or at least that's my thinking). Weapon selection is scant, and ammo is hard to come by and the weapons seem a little nerfed - especially the double barreled shotgun, which could use a little more ass and better pellet spread. Item drops disappear too quickly and this game desperately needs a save anywhere, anytime feature, or at least a checkpoint system to keep you from needlessly looping around and to spare you the cheap deaths.

The humor is foul, the way I like it and I enjoy the foul-mouthed Redneck protagonist, he kind of reminds me of Duke Nukem, which is a game I passed over to buy this. The enemies are to say the least, bizarre and eclectic. They're deadly accurate and extremely aggressive so this game is a bit on the steep side of the difficulty curve. This game has quickly lost its appeal to me and I have relegated it to a toilet game.

There's a lot of fun to be had with Immortal Redneck's clever blend of procedural room generation and tight-ish gunplay. It's ability to reward you the more you fail is a hard hook to jump off of, especially when there's a new adventure waiting for you each time.

Immortal Redneck is a fast and fun FPS that manages to be challenging without becoming impossible. Despite not being perfect, its extended playable life and roguelike-FPS character set in such an original universe makes it a highly recommended game for your Nintendo Switch.

Immortal Redneck is a good game and deserves to be highlighted for the great amount of content, for the variety of its pyramids and for the good level design. I think a lot of people will have fun with its smart ideas and good gameplay.
