Immortal Planet is a slow-paced take on the Souls-like genre that takes veterans into consideration but doesn't account for the rest of players.

Immortal Planet could have been a game to make a great use of an established formula but instead, it turns out to be a disappointment that falls short of expectations in every field. While its combat system has elements that are worthy of praise, the game's sense of exploration is very unsatisfactory and its drab visual environment take all the fun away from roaming around the game's world, not to mention its almost lack of a soundtrack and below par performance.

One of the better isometric souls-like games I've played. My only two real complaints are:
    1. There's a specific enemy called the Awakemare
One of the better isometric souls-like games I've played. My only two real complaints are:
    1. There's a specific enemy called the Awakemare that, for whatever reason, causes the game to slow down like crazy.
    2. Dashing from platform to platform can be a little tricky due to the perspective, which is extra annoying as pits are an instant kill.
Still, there's a decent amount of weapons, lots of unique spells, and plenty to explore. Not much else I could ask for really.
