Challenge randomly generated bosses across the randomly generated world, defeat demonic hordes, loot valuable treasures and soulstones, equip powerful weapons and use all your skills to save humanity! Or at the very least, save yourself, which feels at least as good as saving humanity. Each Transformation gives you new ways of slaughtering yet more hordes of demons! Command rats as the Rat King, become the Orc Fairy with her mighty spells (well, as mighty as an Orc Fairy can cast...), dip enemies in the questionable goo of the Slimeball, or become many other ludicrous monstrosities. Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is a few steps short of being an all-around must-have roguelike shooter. The camera is zoomed in enough and just jerky enough that some enemies can be easily hidden from view. There's also the character unlocking process, which is only valuable if you plan on taking multiple successful runs through the game. With that said, the action is excellent, and the flaws aren't enough to stop the title from having that sort of magic that beckons you for one more run. Despite not being the first choice for a roguelike shooter, Hellmut is ultimately a good choice.

Hellmut: The Badass From Hell is an interesting rogue-like shooter where you can transform into various deadly creatures. The gameplay is engaging but doesn't get too difficult and doesn't take long to complete a run. Having multiple forms is fascinating and very helpful in the long run.

Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is an experience that will make the player go through a demanding, difficult adventure rich in characters and items, as well as in its replay factor given that the levels are generated on a procedural basis. Less welcoming for newbie players, its difficulty level can get quite demanding and the audiovisual environment stands out as lacklustre, but dedicated players will find something they can engage with for a healthy amount of time.

If you loved Enter the Gungeon then give this one a chance. It's very similar but extremely different. Challenging but can be mastered. And i got the physical copy at gamestop on a sale for 19.99. I love these rogue like dungeon crawlers so its a win in my book. Expand
