Jul 19, 2018Although the game is very fun, even with low resolution the frame rate still consistently drops under thirty all the time. The controls are somewhat okay but the camera is horrible. Still worth the price.

Jul 20, 2018The switch port is just bad. The loading takes for ever, which completely ruins the flow of the game. the resolution and the frame rate suck. the gore effects (don't lie - that's why you bought the game) look very ugly especially compared to the pc or ps4/xbox versions.

Jul 23, 2018Gut and Glory is a very fun game ! you need to complete different course without dying. I had no big expectations towards this game except to have fun. But after you played 1-2 hour I was Facing Low frame rate, endless loading and gore effect glitch. I hope that a new update will correct all this, because overall this game is very funny

Mar 29, 2020If the game worked I'd still be playing this nonsense. The graphical issues of this port make the game inexcusably unplayable and I'm fairly certain this port is censored. I wish we'd gotten a legitimate port that we could enjoy.

Nov 26, 2021Unexplained Physics, Horrifying Gameplay, Stinky Fps Has many graphical errors when dying, I DON'T RECOMMEND IT FOR 20 DOLLARS! THERE ARE 1000 GAMES BETTER THAN THIS
-
Nov 26, 2021One of the worst ports I have played, The Gore Content has many flaws and is not at the level of xbox, ps4, or even PC, but the game has exaggeratedly many fps drops and an unforgivable gameplay!
-
Nov 27, 2021I had many expectations about this game, in the trailer it looks epic but when you play it you find Nintendo 64 graphics exaggerated physics and relatively bad fps bad very bad, do not waste your money paying this, playing this is wasting time since its challenges are boring absurdities badly done and full of glicthes this game should be free. it's the worst TinyBuild game.

Aug 11, 2022I bought this Game without looking at their opinions and it is one of the worst things you can BUY IN YOUR LIFE! Fps/ Graphics/ Bugs/Physics/Resolution/game itself They suck not to mention their bad gameplay it runs at 5fps and is not even able to reach 30 this garbage, do not spend your money on this, I hope they give me a refund for this garbage that runs at 480P

Feb 25, 2019Rough around the edges, Guts and Glory needs more work on improving its controls. It does provide for some sick, macabre fun though.

Aug 6, 2018Guts and Glory isn’t the first, and won’t be the last title that lost its playability being ported to the Switch (WWE 2K18 comes to mind). It’s another example of all ports not being equal as developers still struggle to discover all of the ins and out of the porting process. If getting sliced in half or impaled by a buzzsaw is a can’t miss experience, I would recommend looking at another platform to play it on.

Jul 25, 2018Guts and Glory is a really fun little indie that’s burst out of the gates and onto Nintendo Switch, but the porting process has taken its toll. The basic rinse and repeat nature of its challenges and the madcap bloodbath of its physics are a laugh-out-loud combination while they last, but without the long-term appeal of the map editor and its library of user-generated content, the Switch version suffers as a result.
