Nov 3, 2022Gerda: A Flame in Winter is not a breakthrough in adventure games, but manages to introduce interesting gameplay elements that works pretty well with its interesting and heavy story. We are so used to play war games killing people during the nazi regime that we forget that there are good and bad guys on both sides of a war, like The Book Thief by Markus Zusak showed us, and this game is a perfect example of it, proving how fun a war game can be without the tired Rambo formula so used in FPS and third person shooter games.
