After each performance players will be able to spin the mashup wheel for a dance-off between two of the Geminose to unlock mashup superfans that will amplify the buzz around the world of your Geminose band.

    When not on tour the Geminose live in the lap of luxury at their popstar mansion. With hundreds of interactive decorative items, players can deck out each room in the Geminose mansion to suit their style or reflect the countries that the Geminose hail from. Each Geminose can invite their bandmates over for dance or music parties or play with all the items in the rooms to mine for coins. Coins can be used to buy more furniture, hundreds of outfits, and additional instruments.

    When taking a break from their world tour with the Geminose, players can hone their culinary skills in the mansion kitchen featuring an extensive cooking game. Players will learn to create the Geminose’s favorite recipes featuring cuisines from all over the world. Along with the mansion kitchen, players can unlock several unique mini-games such as Cupcake Samurai, Saturday Flight Fever, or Cake Detective, to earn even more coins to spend throughout the game.    … Expand

    If you missed it at launch, why not give Geminose: Animal Popstars a look? While some minor glitches disappoint given the higher price, the overall package is still very good. If you’re a parent with younger kids, know that this game will check off many of their boxes. The Geminose are too cute not to recommend, and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of them in the future.

    As a franchise, Geminose has potential. The range of animal creatures are adorable, and they’re impossible not to love. But Geminose Animal Popstars doesn’t provide them the best backdrop to truly shine. There are some nice original songs here, but many of the minigames are unoriginal and are let down further by poor motion controls. Kids under 10 will get a kick out of its cutesy presentation, but it’s not going to hold anyone’s attention for long.

    Geminose: Animal Popstars is 4 hour long rhythm based childrens game. Here youll go from level to level trying to create super ultra famous popstar band… youll unlock new geminose characters as the game goes on, all of whih you can customize.. they all also have rooms you can customize.. I was actually really impressed with the amount of things there are to do here in this game to make it feel like your own. Gameplay wise though, geminose animal popstars is sadly insanely repetitive… During the songs you simply point the joycons up, down, let or right, depening on the direction in tells you.. you can also play with 2 players if you have 4 joycons… youll definitely feel like youre just going through the motions htough.. where things take effort are the medium and hard versions of the performances, however you have to beat the song on easy before you can unlock them.. and let me tell you.. noones trying to here these songs the first time let alone 3 times to get a little challenge from this game…
    its not all perfomances though, in between youll be doing cooking mini games wih controls that can feel frustrating at times, find the item mini game and a buy the outfits or bedroom items in this picture game.. its cool at first doing all of these things, but eventually its just mind numbing.. but I do appreciate that they at least try to give a little more content here than just perfomances to give you a break….
    there ae also animal combinations you can unlock after you level up.. but sadly they only unlock in the frm of stickers.. you cant put them into your band.. so.. what was the point?
    Overall geminose gives you a great a mmount of choice for customizing, and no choice when it comes to actual gameplay.. and this is what makes geminose animal postars such a dud.. but hey. .this is a kids game, and for a kids game this is a pretty okay one with a lot to unlock here and play through..
