Gem Wizards Tactics has some fun tactical battles going on with cute-looking characters. While the design elements can make it harder to enjoy, if you’re in the mood for a simple version of Fire Emblem and can grab it on special, it could be worth a go.

Same battles over and over. "Procedurally generated". When are these rookie game developers going to realize that isn't a be-all-end -all. There is no variety in terrain. Yes it's random but that DOES not make it interesting. People like to have the odds stacked against them, charging up a hill, crossing a dangerous river. Depictions of REAL battles. Won't find it here.

    Why is it unfair?
Well the enemies will always outnumber you, and constantly respawn.
You are supposed to use special abilities to send them off the map, but they are almost never at the edge. The map is always a hexagon. So stupid. And after you attack, even though it only costs one action point, your unit is fatigued and cannot use the rest of their AP. . So it boils down to a war of attrition. Lame.

Just skip it. There is no point in playing this. Advance Wars and War Groove have an over arching narrative that is fun to explore. As you get better the game is more fun, no matter the challenge. UI: Wow... the interface is **** The buttons look like place holders from alpha. The cursor is 4 tiny curved lines on a hexagon that are light black. You lose sight of the cursor all the time. The button commands are nonsensical. You want to use an ability and then the cursor goes flying not to be seen. And if you want to cancel and scroll through units, you are f*cked. Okay and it gets choppy! It's graphics aren't good enough to have it be choppy...

The guy that made this put it on Google playstore. That should tell you everything. This game is a pond that is 1 inch deep.

The music is good. But this guy has his YouTube monetized, so you can't even listen without ads.
