    In my existence there is waking life, sleeping life and Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. Hopefully, one day the three will one day merge into an indecipherable blissful haze. This game should cost a highly paid professional three years salary at minimum, a blue collar worker should be able to spend his retirement savings on it and poor people should not even be able to play it, well maybe aIn my existence there is waking life, sleeping life and Garfield Kart: Furious Racing. This game should cost a highly paid professional three years salary at minimum, a blue collar worker should be able to spend his retirement savings on it and poor people should not even be able to play it, well maybe a demo if they donate blood everyday and one kidney. If this game ever goes on sale, it would be an insult to the concept of money itself and needless to say, if anyone pirates it, they should receive capital punishment. If I died and my consciousness was uploaded into this game, it would be like an episode of Black Mirror but instead it would be White Mirror. If car manufacturers like Tesla do dot remodel their cars after the ones in Garfield Kart: Furious Racing (Blessed is it’s name) they will surely go broke. The ancient Egyptians cleary worshipped cats because they knew this game would one day exist, the pyramids were some sort of ancient computed designed to play it. The previous iteration (without the Furious Racing addendum) is not quite as good, maybe only a billion out of ten.… Expand

    Game of a generation, this will revolutionize the gaming industry. Honestly cannot think of a better game. Masterpiece.

    Fur-iously good. Never before had I experienced a game this paw-sitivly good. The game stars Garfield, the fat, furry, feline as he goes on a epic tail. 10-10 would play again

    Beautiful and enthralling action game. You play as Jon Arbuckle, a young Confederate officer, as he experiences the visceral horrors of the Civil War. The graphics are incredible and the game handles brilliantly; running over Union soldiers feels realistic and true to historic fact. As you progress through the game's dense, 200-hour story mode, you can unlock new characters, such asBeautiful and enthralling action game. You play as Jon Arbuckle, a young Confederate officer, as he experiences the visceral horrors of the Civil War. The graphics are incredible and the game handles brilliantly; running over Union soldiers feels realistic and true to historic fact. As you progress through the game's dense, 200-hour story mode, you can unlock new characters, such as General Garfield , Corporal Nermal, and a young slave girl named Arlene.

    The game features 16 original tracks, such as the battles of Vicksburg, Bull Run, and Gettysburg. The lush environments of each map are enhanced by the wide variety of 9 different power-ups, which include muskets, water horns, and bayonets. Skewering Confederates with the tip of your bayonet has never looked better. With online multiplayer that features several modes (Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, FFA), this game cannot be ignored.

    THE VERDICT: With a branching story mode that contains over 200 hours of content, a wide variety of power-ups, maps, and characters, and a multi-featured multiplayer, Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a must have for any gamer's library.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I once thought my life was perfect. I had a highly lucrative career that excited me each day, a soul mate that I couldn't believe I was lucky enough to spend my life with, and several million dollars invested that would one day enable us to travel the world together. I thought that surely life couldn't be better.

    I was wrong.

    Garfield Kart: Furious Racing took me completely by surprise. I was passing by the house of a close friend on my daily walk through the neighborhood when I caught a glimpse through his window of something I had never seen before. It immediately piqued my interest, and I took a few steps closer for a better view.

    What I saw that day was indescribable. It was a screen on which a cat was displayed, racing through a neighborhood; though that description alone falls laughably short of doing justice to the marvel I beheld.

    I stood peering through that window for what had to have been two minutes, though it could just as easily have been two decades. The race ended and the TV was shut down. My heart sank as some emotion came over me that I had not felt in all my life.

    I rushed to the door and started pounding. As soon as the door opened and I could see my friend, the words "WHAT WAS ON THAT TV?" came crashing out of my mouth, engulfed in panic. He let out a short chuckle and replied "Oh, that's Garfield Kart for the Switch."

    That was the sentence that changed my life. I sped to the store, purchased a Nintendo Switch™ and a copy of Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, went home, and began playing.

    I have not stopped playing since.

    I divorced my partner, who somehow did not reach the same enlightenment as I, quit my job, and now live in a studio apartment in Alaska, alone with only a servant I hired using my life savings to hand-feed me while I continue playing.

    The divorce and move were all done without ever putting the game down, thanks to my Nintendo Switch™ and its handheld mode. This is also how I have been able to use the bathroom.
    My body is now trained to only need sleep during the game's loading screens, and I have become the #1 player worldwide.

    I wish I could describe what about this game was able to fundamentally change who I am, but words simply will never do it justice. Even dictating this review so that my servant can post it to Metacritic is taking more focus away from my gaming than I would like.

    All I can tell you is this: buy Garfield Kart: Furious Racing for the Nintendo Switch™. You will soon come to understand its transcendent elegance, as I have. I guarantee it will be the most valuable purchase of your life.    … Expand

    No meming here, this game is a massive downgrade from the original Garfield Kart and does not deserve any respect whatsoever. They took a perfectly good game and ruined it with terrible character models and buggy gameplay. Tracks will randomly send you back after colliding with a wall and they removed online play. Overall it was a terrible experience playing it and I wouldn't tell you toNo meming here, this game is a massive downgrade from the original Garfield Kart and does not deserve any respect whatsoever.     Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a Fun and exciting racer, that’s a must play for Garfield Fans and Kart Racing Fans more content, especially more characters and levels could make it even better

    Outdated graphics, which looks even ugly in split screen mode.
    Gameplay is average. Beach buggy racing is far more attractive.
    Characters looks nice though. Sounds are good too.
    It's ok for 2 players playing on split screen... but you will "enjoy" poor gfx.
    At least on sale it's OK to buy it, but otherwise - it's a bad idea.

    Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a game too simple and does not offer many details of this iconic character. It is a simply correct racing title, perfect for children but not for adults, not even for the most casual players.

    We always knew Garfield was something of a rebel, but taking a bad six-year-old game, making it even worse to play, pretending it’s a sequel and charging Switch owners more than double the price to suffer it is some pretty subversive stuff. The original Garfield Kart is extremely cheap on Steam: considering this is a more broken version of the same game, you might as well buy that instead. Even if you don’t have a PC, you’ll have wasted less money.
