Feb 2, 2021It's a nice little game. Unfortunately they took out the permanent upgrades and instead you get temporary upgrades. One of my favorite things to do was destroy the first couple of levels with highly upgraded weapons but I can't do that anymore.

Oct 7, 2021I thoroughly enjoy this arena shooter. The global high score leaderboard and achievements make it replayable. I just love games of this style and there aren't enough of them on the switch. This game is totally worth picking up!!!

Jan 31, 2020Galaxy Champions TV for the Nintendo Switch is a fun twin stick shoot'em-up that brings a lot of frantic, intense action with a sharp sense of control. It also chokes the player with its rapidly-rising difficulty level, which quickly reaches overwhelming heights with many frustrating moments. Were it not for that challenge imbalance, Galaxy Champions TV could become an instant classic within its genre but as it is, it's a fun but excessively punishing work.

Oct 30, 2019Overall, Galaxy Champions TV is a decent little game, and an instant purchase for those who miss Smash TV. Otherwise, I feel like this is the sort of game perfectly suited to the Switch. Just something to play during your morning train ride. Simple, engaging for a short time, and rounds are over quickly.
