The village is in a sparsely populated wilderness where years of mismanagement have led to most residents becoming unruly. The game features multiple endings, but only one automatic save slot is available. Your choice will determine the fate of the villagers. Disabling the Save/Load feature aims to provide a unique gaming experience with each save, forcing players to seize every moment.

    The weird thing is, I can see why some people might enjoy this game. It’s strange and it’s random, which might be exactly what certain gamers are after. Personally, though, I just found Freak Crossing to be a vaguely unsettling waste of time – which may be its point, but that doesn’t mean I want to play it.

    Freak Crossing is not a broken game, but with no instructions and along a story full of twisted and disturbing events, it was not a fun experience for me.
