Oct 17, 2021Dead Cells but you don’t lose everything after two hours of playing and the level design is FAR superior?
SOLD
Ignore the jaded reviewers this is a beautiful and rewarding game. Glad I took the plunge and bought this. Worth every penny. -
Sep 29, 2022Fun plat-former. The controls were sleek and comfortable. The variety of weapons and perks was good.
My only issue is that occasionally if you got caught fighting a lot of enemies at once, then it would freeze a little bit.
Other than that. Would definitely recommend.

Jan 4, 2021Looks good, plays good, a nice use of souls-like mechanics to penalize players for dying but still lets you run freely and enjoy the game at your own pace; there is a lot to like about Foregone. It lands itself squarely near the top of the 2D action platformer pyramid. A little more depth in the skill tree and a little more oomph in the special abilities could take it to that next level, but it stands on solid footing and offers a class leading experience.

Dec 19, 2020Foregone is a good Metroidvania that gets inspiration from several different sources. While that's good, its lack of innovation makes it a game full of promises that aren't really fulfilled. It's a good game that is always on the verge of being great but never really achieving it. It's worth the play though, for those who like the genre and like hard spikes of difficulty.

Nov 13, 2020Foregone is a good 2D action platformer, and worth a play-through. I’ve played many games that are easy to put down when the review is done, but Foregone is staying in my rotation for a while.
