A frightful delight, FNAF Security Breach allows you to fully explore the Pizzaplex for the first time, featuring tense boss fights, fun exploration, and jump scares galore, it’s a solid addition to the videogame series and gives hope for a bright future.

Despite performance issues, FNAF Security Breach on Nintendo Switch can still be enjoyed, bringing a great terrifying, unique, and stressful experience that can now be taken on-the-go.

Alrighty, this is definitely a major improvement. I've always enjoyed parts about Security Breach on PS4, but needless to say it was a brokenAlrighty, this is definitely a major improvement. I've always enjoyed parts about Security Breach on PS4, but needless to say it was a broken mess that only worked part of the time. I have no clue how Steel Wool did it, but somehow the version on a less powerful console is better than the PS4 version.
I'm assuming it's a kind of "The Switch can do less, so the devs don't make it do as much, resulting in a smoother game" kinda deal.
Now that the game doesn't actively reject me from playing it, I've been enjoying my time with it a lot more! A great time all around!
Despite what that number says, I don't actually find it a 10/10 experience, but I'm giving Steel Wool a high score anyway for fixing their massive massive mistake that was the PS4 version.

This game is not atrocious, but there are so many things that deter me from actively enjoying it.
The game is prone to stutters, and some areas (like the green zone from Fazer Blast) are slideshows.
The loading times are not long in and by themselves, but as they pile on and on everytime you open a sliding door. And that's if the textures load in properly.

The enemies can sometimes appear where they shouldn't be supposed to and find you in a hiding spot when they didn't spot you for a good while (Chica appeared in the Hippo's Magnet room at the beginning of the game and found me hiding in the lobby even though she didn't see me at all). Or sometimes, they don't see you at all when you're almost breathing in their neck. This game's AI is a coin flip as for its efficiency.
The way running is incoporated feels rather clunky and took me a while to adapt to.

Also. The most important point: Why is this game named FIVE Nights at Freddy's if the whole story is rounded up in one night?
The way hours were incorporated before acted as a way to tense up the player: "How much time do I have left until 6am strikes?" where here, it just serves as: "Congrats, champ, you got through 50% of the game."
This game also has less action than it's classic predecessors, where managing the remaining electricity was a challenge demanding your full attention.
Security Breach is a hide-and-seek game, turning the franchise into a waiting game rather than a fast-paced management one.
Waiting for the various enemies to go is not engaging gameplay.

The game is playable, but don't expect much from this experience.
