    I just cannot recommend playing FIFA 22 on the Nintendo Switch. I don't think it's worth it to be honest.

    It's the exactly same game since Fifa 18, and they charge a full price for it every year.
    It's not bad, but there is no reason at all to buy it for switch,

    The game is revelational. Gameplay is amazing and the graphics are poetry for a Switch. 10/10 for me.

    The game itself is technically fine. It's not broken in any technical sense. It's the business practices of EA that's the real issue. EA is putting no effort in really updating the game, and there's no real reason for it other than complacency, sheer laziness, and misinterpreting the game market.

    If you haven't picked up a FIFA game on the Switch in a few years, yeah, I suppose it'll scratch an itch and fill a void you've been missing. It won't even seem that bad. But the bad reviews, even from professional critics, are bad for a reason: EA doesn't care.

    The worst part is, if sales slump (and they will) EA execs, with the big brain power they have, will completely misread the situation as being no one wants FIFA on the Switch and they'll stick to the other 2 big consoles in the XBox and PS5. The thing is a lot of people want FIFA on the go. It's not for everyone, but there's a market and they're leaving money on the table. The biggest reason why seems the simplest: It's hard to nickel and dime people out of microtransactions if they're only playing it on the bus or train to work, so why bother putting any effort in? Only put effort in for the people willing to pay the most microtransactions.    … Expand

    I don’t understand these horrible ratings for the game. It’s perfectly fine, and is a solid handheld game. I’ve really enjoyed it.

    Be careful with infuriating reviews. No this is not the same game as the regular versions (PS4/5 and Xbox). But NO, this is not FIFA 18 reskin. I have more than 200 hours of FIFA 18 on Switch and there’s lot of differences. Definitively is not the same game. Same engine? Probably yes. I’m satisfacted for what I’ve payed (20 USD) and what I got (Premier League with updated roosters). GameBe careful with infuriating reviews. I had played this **** through a friend who then sold the game 3 hours after buying it. We were told the same story I was told last year that we weren't the only people who sold their copy back.     I believe that their score should be the same as the amount they put into these games. FIFA legacy edition is simply not worth it if you already own any other edition of FIFA on switch.

    So I bought the game a week before Thanksgiving. It had been out for almost 2 months by the time I got it. But, it was on sale at GameStop, brand new for only $20. I gotta say, it feels like the same game I was playing on PS3 10 years ago! That is both good and bad I guess, because I loved the game then, but it really isn’t much different. EA should provide cheap roster updates every season, though, if they’re not going to change the game at all. Overall though, I gotta give this one a passing score, based on the price I payed, and amount I will be playing it, regardless of EA’s shortcomings. 7/10… Expand

    besides all the insolence that FIFA allows itself, the game is also bugged. invisible players. Strange ball physics. Jerseybug etc. Dont buy it.

    This trash should be for free, it’s such a waste of money just to have the same port as 2019 and it’s bad to know that EA don’t trust Nintendo Switch to get it with better graphics and more modes to play, such a disappointment

    A jogabilidade esta boa, porem a falta de novidades e erros recorrentes tiram o brilho da franquia.

    I gave this a 3. When you can actually connect to another player, which can take UP TO 90 MINUTES - and if you play a match I actually love it. However I dont have 40 minutes or so to SEARCH FOR A F*CKING GAME! EA are the most lazy developers in gaming hands down. I cant see the rest of my review because a big POST BUTTON IS BLOCKING it.     Obviously is very outdated compared to the PC/PS4-5/Xbox versions, but it's still kind of fun to play online and the Ultimate Team mode still has almost all the functionalities included in the standard version, but with the possibility to play them online.

    Graphics are not horrible, but they can be improved, and has some minor bugs, but still a playable game.

Bought it to be able to play online seasons occationaly and luckily it was at a discount. 50% of the time, without overexaggurating the squad file doesnt match, even though you redownloaded it multiple times and reset the game.

No new features nothing, just updated squads and not even the squads are really up to date and sometimes Ive seen players dissappear from the squad.

    this really perplexes me, you rerelease the same game 4 times youd think atleast it would be functional, but of course not. So do we really wanna give EA more money at this point. I personally used to buy fifa almost every year for awhile back in the day when I owned an xbox. But this version of the game is an insult to sports fans and an insult to gamers. Most importantly though, shows how little EA as a company cares about their reputation and about customers.    … Expand

    Again, the same game with a different number. EA could port Frostbyte for Nintendo Switch to run good games on this handheld, but why can't we play a full FIFA 22? Nintendo Switch can perfectly run a full FIFA. One more year disappointed of EA with Nintendo Switch. Come on EA do something.

    It is a case of same old story for FIFA 22 unfortunately. Without any hint of a change in the way the Switch ports are approached, there is very little to recommend. Purchasing this would only add to the EA mentality that a 'Legacy Edition' is a perfectly acceptable option in today's market. If you've never owned a football game on a console, this is probably the way to go, gameplay is thankfully passable and there is not another out there with such fully comprehensive licensing domination. For everyone else however, until the whole mentality of EA changes in regards to showing respect to what fans deserve if gaming on the so called 'lesser' consoles, this is a clear own goal.

    FIFA 22 marks the third time EA has given us FIFA 19 with a different shirt on. It may clearly state Legacy Edition on the title, but being kicked in the groin isn't any less painful if your assailant tells you they're going to do it in advance. Once again, EA has insulted Switch owners by giving them the version it usually releases on dead systems. Do not accept it.
