This is a really under-rated gem. Inspired by PlayStation 1 era classic strategy RPGs like FF Tactics or Vandal Hearts, it tells a tale of intrigue and conspiracy in a fantasy/supernatural setting. The really nice touch is the sheer variety of classes you can pick from, mixing and matching skills and abilities from each. And unlike recent games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Mario + Rabbids 2, you can tell there’s been an incredible amount of effort put into making each of the 40-50 campaign encounters feel unique and fun to play. Not to mention secret levels, multiple endings, and customisable difficulty options… it’s a must-play in my view. Expand

A good turn-based game with an exciting story that you can complete and ... no longer run, retained the warm emotions of exploring the game.
The player does not have a desire to immerse himself in side tasks, they are created for the grind and have no meaning.
The story is great. The gameplay is addictive. Everything else - well, it is, and thanks for that

I've been looking for a game as satisfying as FFT since I played FFT on my PS1,and then again on my PSP, and then again on mobile. I've played a ton of tactics games teying to find something I like and nothing really satisfied the craving untill Fell Seal. Fell Seal keeps itself different and added a lotnof quality of life features. Great game!

Really surprised me! This is a great RPG with a classic style story and great battles and progression system. If you enjoy tactical games and like story and complex progression system this is the way to go. has a few control weirdnesses on switch and the icons are a little hard to read.

weak points: - some of the battles can go on for a while as enemies will definitely heal -

    - progression system (job system i think?) can be a little cumbersome by mid-game. hard to juggle all the classes since you can multi class. I am working on unlocking everything and it gets tricky to keep track of what I'm going for.

In spite of a somewhat spotty presentation, Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark manages to fill a tactical RPG niche that had been lying dormant for far too long. Beyond just serving as a competent TRPG, however, Fell Seal engages with the genre in increasingly dynamic ways. It borrows a good deal of its concepts from Final Fantasy Tactics, but nothing is just brought over as is. While there are conceptual similarities between the titles, this has more than enough mechanical depth to stand on its own. Strong map design and plenty of customization options make this game a must-have for fans of tactical RPGs.

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is a wonderful throwback to tactical RPGs of old, featuring tons of customisation and strategical options to play around with.

Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark does not reinvent the whole tactical RPG world but it surely does a very good job at some of its main aspects, namely at customization and at giving a whole lot of reasons for the player to look at the screen with all its gorgeous elements. If it's true that the plot and some of its mechanics need improvement, Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark does not need to copy previous games to make a name on its own.
