Jan 25, 2020An ok game that will keep your brain busy for free. After a while, you will find it boring and repetitive.

Jan 10, 2021It's a decent time waster, but after about 50 hours playtime it falls off hard. The timers become ridiculously long and it takes real money to shorten them. Worse, the UI is poor and it's quite difficult to click on a character without selecting the room instead or sometimes vice versa. There is no way to select multiple characters at once to respond to an attack so lots of needless clicking.

The quests can be fun although a little repetitive, the vault missions are fun and the game overall is an ethical nightmare when you consider that you literally force hundreds into slavery so that your vault can look pretty. Other than that nitpick, you can find some enjoyment out of this game especially if you are a fan of the Fallout series

Jul 21, 2018I can't believe this game is free! The microtransactions are done well, I don't need to pay to play or advance in the game. The only problem I had is that from time to time you have to wait and you have nothing to do in the game. Overall - great game

Oct 15, 2018Strange to say this, but this is my most played game on Switch clocking in at 130 hours. Next is Zelda... The game itself is perfect for those quiet moments where I need a break from the world and I can resource manage to my hearts content. Touch controls are perfect for late night sessions without interrupting the missus. Recommended - it's free after all.

Oct 30, 2018Average game, if you don’t get in the game every 10 minutes it’s basically game over. It’s very hard to progress in this game. I’m up fri a challenge, but this is just not the way to present it.

Feb 16, 2019This could have been a much better game easily, if they just took back the difficulty a couple notches. I really liked the game, but I mad one mistake and now about half my people are dead.

Could've spent this time grinding Celeste. Bad decision, but Fortnite was worse. -

Sep 19, 2018Fallout Shelter isn't the introduction to the series Nintendo fans deserve. It's a rather mediocre freemium game, and Bethesda would likely have been better served getting a main series game out on Switch first.

The gameplay loop is simple yet engaging, though the lack of variety in the mid and end game remains disappointing. For newcomers, Fallout Shelter is an okay game that can casually occupy your time. But if you’re a veteran, I can’t see any reason why you should play this version.
