It's not bad a game, but it is plagued by a few flaws which have a pretty big impact on the gameplay.
I have only played the game for a couple an hour or so, however, I have some issues with the controls. When sliding, you can move your character left or right very easily. I found this annoying as when changing the camera, your character would immediately follow, which would make it hard to view the upcoming level when sliding. Another issue I have is that when wall running, you must keep the joystick pressed forward at a specific angle, or else you will fall off. Another issue I have with controls, is the lack of control of movement which you have in the air. This can make going fast very challenging as it is very hard to slow down and be able to land on platforms with the lack of control in the air.
The game also suffers from some minor performance issues. The frame rate and graphics could be optimised better for switch.
Sliding will also result in a very hard speed boost, and when combined with the lack of character control in the air, will often cause you to die.
The game also suffers from some bugs in general.
I give this game a 5/10 in its current state, however if these some of these issues were fixed, I would probably give it an 8/10 (for its genre/price).… Expand
