Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience through & through! Some people seem to think this game was originally a mobile game but it was actually on PC well before it got ported to mobile...the depth and detail put into the gigantic game world is awe inducing, especially when you start to notice EVERY NPC has something to say and usually a back story! Some people seem to think this game was originally a mobile game but it was actually on PC well before it got ported to mobile...the depth and detail put into the gigantic game world is awe inducing, especially when you start to notice EVERY NPC has something to say and usually a back story! The exploration is endless and it’s fun to just wander around the world discovering and experiencing the various atmospheres. Basically what I’m saying is the presentation of the game, the way it looks, sounds, feels and just the experience of it is worth a few play through just to experience the world and game through different parameters. The controls are nasty at first but get fairly intuitive and understandable in the first hour or two. I HIGHLY recommend Ember to any gamer who loves to explore every nook n cranny of maps and enjoys deep and complex/strategic combat (which also includes auto pause etc)
PS - The ATMOSPHERE in this game is OUTSTANDING & endlessly engaging!

Ember is a worthwhile attempt to capture the essence of the classic RPGs we all loved. With its modest price of $19.99 USD, one can easily overlook the rather short adventure. Even still, if you're yearning for a new classic RPG playthrough then Ember is certainly deserving of your time.

If its numerous areas didn't feel quite so empty, if it had some more variety to its quests and one or two secret areas to discover as you explored its world it would be much easier to recommend, but, as it stands, this one is an inexpensive but pretty generic experience that won't sit long in your memory once you put it down.

I will forget about having Ember on my Switch within a few months of having being done with it now, I suspect. If you do play it, you'll be looking at around 20 hours of highly derivative, classic RPG action. You won't be annoyed by Ember and, played in short bursts, you won't be bored of it either. It has that pick-up-and-play quality.
