Dec 13, 2020A legitimately great alternative to left 4 dead on the switch, playing local with a group of friends is loads of fun and it definitely feels polished and surprisingly smooth after being updated to current version! If you enjoy left 4 dead and want something that feels and plays almost identical on the switch this is not a bad option at all, I enjoyed it immensely!

May 4, 2020Despite all of its flaws, Earthfall: Alien Horde is the only shooter of its type on the Switch. That alone gives it a base for longer than most lower-budget titles with an online component. If you're a more discerning player or one who has more options than the Switch, the pull isn't going to be that strong. Dull objectives, endless combat with frustrating foes, lifeless shooting, and a lack of polish in the performance area leave a game that can't match up with its contemporaries or the classics that it's trying to emulate. It'll work if you have nothing else available, but you'll also wish that other four-player, co-op, first-person shooters would arrive on the Switch platform.

Nov 14, 2019Earthfall: Alien Horde attempts to fill a spot still left absent by L4D3, but unfortunately fails to capture the magic or atmosphere of the genre's best.

Nov 12, 2019Earthfall is much better when played with friends but there’s nothing here that’ll really blow you away. A solid if unspectacular effort.
