Something about this game I could just not put down. I tried to step away but couldn't stop thinking about wanting to go another round.

Without an engaging story I sorta thought this game wouldn't have enough to keep me invested. It really makes up for it though with fast paced gameplay, a great reward system, a feeling of getting better or more powerful with upgrades, tight controls and a good variety of enemy design and character customization options to play around with between each run. The map layout was also interesting and not something I've really seen before. It really like zips you to the action very quickly and doesn't leave a lot of downtime to get bored.

I saw a review of this game on Switchup which convinced me to buy it and those guys really got it right. This game is addicting.

The gameplay is just so good and scratches an itch I didn't know I had. It's definitely a bullet-hell Hades with its gameplay mechanic but with a little more options to adjust the difficulty and more frequent upgrades.

If i had any complaint it would be that a good story would have just taken this above and beyond but I understand it's a indie small dev game. This totally delivered with its gameplay for me and is going to be my go-to for a while when I need to break up some of these story heavy or complicated games for a while and give myself a break with some mindless action that dependable can deliver the fun.

Finally a rogue-like shooter to give Enter the Gungeon a run for its money. Very overlooked gem of a game. 9 years in development clearly shines through in attention to detail in every aspect of its design. Don't sleep on this one.

Hades, Enter the Gungeon, and Doom 2016 had a baby and named it Doomsday Hunters.

Super crisp controls, fun items, interesting enemies, and the ability to manufacture your run (rather than total luck) puts this into the category right below Hades. This team should be proud.

Amazing graphics, smooth and fun gameplay, and a cool retro vibe make this Game a Hidden gem for nintendo Switch.
It's like a mix of Doom, Hades and Enter the Gungeon. Highly recommendable.
