Donut County is a great game to relax with. It's very easygoing and almost never left me stumped. The down side though is that the game is quite short and the levels aren't long enough. I would have loved to see the hole mechanics deployed on a larger scale, giving you the chance to swallow buildings and entire cities. Outside of levels there's a decent amount of dialogue taking place between the residents of donut county and it can be humorous but personally I wasn't laughing out loud at any points.
It's a fun game but only worth it if you can get it on sale.

Donut County is a great game and I’m so glad I picked it up on the Nintendo Switch. The writing is hilarious and each character is charming and unique. The world looks bright and colourful and even though the gameplay is quite repetitive, I think Donut County is the perfect game to play on one dark, cold Christmas evening.

A truly boring game. Most levels play the same without much variety. I am fan of indie games, but this game hasn't much to offer any than good graphics. I have absolutly no clue how it got such good ratings.

A very relaxing, satisfying little game that is worthwhile. Besides very few grammar issues, short lifespan and lack of a sequel, this game is quite perfect, and belongs in any gamer's library.

Although the game is short (about 3 hours long), and too easy, Donut County is a hilarious, beautiful, and creative game. The game play is clever, and the story is great. Definitely worth the price of entry.

This game often goes on sale for under 5 dollars - at that price, it is absolutely amazing in every way.

A very short, gimmicky game that's satisfying in the same sense that popping bubble wrap is. Colorful and happy, with a low level of challenge that's perfect for children and non-gamers. It comes with a political message as well.

Donut County is a hard game to rate. I like the aesthetic, the soundtrack is good, the gameplay is fun, but there's not much to it otherwise.

It doesn't do anything badly, there's just not very much content, and essentially zero replay value. The story isn't bad, but it's not particularly interesting. There's no character development worth mentioning, the humour is okay but grows

The story isn't bad, but it's not particularly interesting. There's no character development worth mentioning, the humour is okay but grows stale pretty fast.

The gameplay is fun, and there are a few variations here and there, but there's only so much you can do with the premise. There is no challenge whatsoever - though I understand that challenge is not the point - and no timer if anyone wanted to try and beat their best time or something.

A lot of people compare this to the Katamari games. I've only played a bit of Katamri Damacy, and though I could not get comfortable with the controls to the point of utter frustration, KD has a "performance" attribute going for it. There's a learning curve and personal improvement that will keep players invested and coming back after the game is done.

If you want a game that's calm and relaxing, this one does pretty well. But there's not enough content or reasons to make me want to come back to it.

This is pretty good, funny, easy and relaxing game. It is pretty short - 2-4h, but this was ideal for me. I think it could be boring if this game would last 10h+.

However history (in dialogue form) was boring. I think it is useless in this type of game. I skipped 40% of this without reading.

First of all, you should buy it only on a sale otherwise it's kind of overpriced game. Donut County is a short but decent game. It took me around two hours to finish it. I do not entirely understand what I enjoyed about this game and why I would have continued playing for several hours, but doggone it this silliness is amazing.

This is a relaxation game, pure and simple, which is almost a shame, because there are flashes of puzzle style gameplay that, if explored further, could have maybe been an easy 10/10. There are some glitches sometimes, and gameplay can get repetetive, but in general I find the game hypnotic, and relaxing.

Donut county is a kind of a puzzle game with fun original hole sucking things mechanics. It's a short and sweet, nice puzzle, well written story and well working controls. It's just surprisingly fun to swallow things with a hole, the game will last you a day or two but is well worth the money.

This is a charming game with a great sense of humour. It's not particularly challenging and I can't quite put my finger on what makes it so satisfying. Sadly, it's too short and will leave you wanting much more. Not worth the full price, but grab it on sale for a few satisfying hours of sucking trash into a hole.

Very cute game, but be warned that it's truly only 2 hours of content. I'm not sensitive about overpaying for games, but I'm happy I picked this one up for $5 rather than full price at $15. The game is Katamari-alike about using a hole to absorb items, rubble, people, houses, and whatever else is around you, while the hole gets larger with each consumable. Gameplay-wise, it's really more of an "experience" than a puzzler, but the few simple puzzles made me chuckle. The controls are fairly tight, though at times things would bounce out of the hole and I'd feel like I was playing one of those rigged ring toss games. Almost nothing has time pressure, so those few frustrations are really minor. Overall, it's a relaxing and clever experience.

The game is also funny, though it's written in the broken millennial Twitter speak of A Night in the Woods and A Short Hike (though without the pathos of either of those games). I find the messy grammar and spelling more humanizing, but I'm sure it'll hit the rage button for some. The graphics and music are both cheerful and well-stylized. I appreciate the amount of personality the devs infused in a short game.

Muy buen juego. BK es uno de los mejores personajes que he visto en un videojuego. Un poco corto pero se disfruta cada segundo del juego.

THIS is the game that made me realize I should no longer purchase switch games before reviewing the length of the game. It was difficult choosing a rating because I was torn between enjoying what there was, and despising the 2 hour length of the game. I think the absolute WORST PART OF THIS, and why I went with 6 instead of choosing 7, is that the game has a fake level system and fake progress. You start out as a so called "level 9" raccoon, so you would THINK that there is average level progression. Level 10, 11, 12, and so on. But there is no level progression. It's all part of the painfully short storyline. You never get to actually use your quadcopter, a product you "unlock" in the fake level progression.
It was 12.99 and I absolutely regret not buying the game on sale. I had so much fun playing, but it wasn't worth it for 2 hours of enjoyment and just about zero replayability. I wouldn't pay more than 5 bucks for this game. It's funny, it has a nice story, but don't waste your money on a game that's the length of a movie. For less than that you could buy, you know, an actual movie.

Funny, cute, charming, relaxing… this game is easy to pick up and play, and the storyline is silly and thoroughly enjoyable. It has a wealth of great characters and great dialogue. It's easy enough that any member of the family can play, but the story will engage all ages. Your Switch is incomplete without this game!

If my biggest complaint about a game is that I desperately want a sequel, that should be a sign that it’s doing something right. I don’t know whether one of those will come, but even if it does, I’m still glad that Donut County’s release on new platforms means that I — and, I hope, many other people — will get to chance to either experience it again, or experience it for the first time. Regardless of whether camp you fall in, it’s fun enough that it won’t disappoint.

Donut County will no doubt prove to be a divisive experience, but those that are looking for a relaxing and often funny puzzle game will find an enjoyable experience that has just enough charm to justify its existence. With that being said, this is hardly a game that feels like it justifies the relatively high price tag; three hours max of content is a tough pill to swallow regardless of how enamored you are with the concept at its core.
