Feb 28, 2019It's amazing! Interesting story, new great characters (ALL HAIL RALSEI!11!), also there are characters from Toby's previous game "Undertale" which is cool. And i immidiately loved the soundtrack. Especially "Field of Hopes and Dreams" and "Rude Buster". Waiting for next chapters and i know they are going to be good as the first one.

Mar 7, 2019I'm gonna be honest its too short but the battling is soooooooo good. When going through the game the characters bond and the dialogue is soooo well written it literally makes you chuckle. Plus its free.

Sep 7, 2019Many great aspects from Undertale combined with improved combat and visuals make this a great demo. I'll definitely be buying the rest of the game when it comes out.

Mar 21, 2020Deltarune is a game everybody should experience. It's a free game for the switch which means everybody with a switch should try it. I haven't even played Undertale yet but now I feel like I need it. In the gaming industry you almost never see comedy games besides indie games which are normally only on PC. This is the first RPG I've enjoyed, everyone should try it.

Dec 31, 2019I haven't ever gotten the chance to finish Undertale, but still, Deltarune Chapter 1 was an amazing experience, full of creative creatures, fun RPG battles and friendship. A must-play free RPG game on the Switch. (And yes, I DID finish this game though...)

Apr 24, 2021I haven't played much of this, but from what I've seen, It's just more Undertale. If you like that, you'll like this. Simple.

Oct 8, 2019The wacky humor of Undertale is back. This is a FREE mini game that will take you 3 to 4 hours to complete.
-
Jun 10, 2020If you already played and liked Undertale, you should try this. Fight mechanics are improved, but the tone of the game it is the same.

Mar 7, 2019for the first chapter to a sequel of one of the greatest indie games of all time this chapter is fantastic. it tells an great story, and the music is just as good as it is in undertale. and like undertale there are secrets and more characters. and its free, so anyone can enjoy this great experience.

Apr 3, 2019A fun short RPG game with the witty humor and uplifting music we know from Toby Fox. The battle system has been improved since Undertale. A good few hours of fun. Plus it's free.

Mar 12, 2019It’s unknown at this point just how big of a project Deltarune will turn out to be – only Chapter 2 is confirmed as of the time of writing – but this first chapter proves to be a solid, if a little too safe, take on the unique gameplay and humour that made Undertale such a hit. At worst, Deltarune Chapter 1 is just a smaller and shallower version of Undertale; at best, it’s a promising glimpse into a much more ambitious project that will hopefully grow to escape the shadow of its forerunner. Regardless, you can download Deltarune Chapter 1 for free right now from the eShop; we’d encourage you to give it a download and see what you think.
