    This game is stupid, unplayable and unfunny and frankly a cash grab. However, it would be funny if it had a positive user score. So it's a 10.

    Oh my god, I played this game not expecting much at all but HOLY **** I’m gonna start off by saying that the controls and aiming could use work and the game can get really tough at times. I know the difficulty is part of the fun, absolutely, but maybe a little less difficulty would go a long way. For a game called “Deeeeer Simulator” the story is surprisingly compelling and I wish I couldOh my god, I played this game not expecting much at all but HOLY **** I’m gonna start off by saying that the controls and aiming could use work and the game can get really tough at times. I know the difficulty is part of the fun, absolutely, but maybe a little less difficulty would go a long way. For a game called “Deeeeer Simulator” the story is surprisingly compelling and I wish I could experience more of that instead of focussing in how I’m gonna dodge these attacks which seemingly lock onto you. However for what it’s worth, this is a solid game. Another review says that the game is too weird, what did you expect out of a game called “Deeeer Simulator: your average everyday deer game”?

    Weirdo physics games are definitely their own thing, probably best championed by the reigning king of the genre, the Goat Simulator series. Perhaps obviously from the title, DEEEER Simulator has its sights set in that same direction and to its credit while there are similarities between the two this has a flavor all its own. It does take a little experimentation and trial and error to get rolling, as the game doesn’t really explain the extent of what you can do so you’ll want to be observant, explore, and try things out, building knowledge as you go. I wouldn’t consider the gameplay to be deep, but it certainly can be satisfying in its silliness, pulling in elements of Grand Theft Auto to some degree, giant mech combat, and other surprises for those who stick with it and are open to the experience. It may not be art, but it does have its goofy charms.

    There’s nothing wrong with strangeness, as long as it’s backed up with some solid fundamentals. But DEEEER Simulator goes for all-out weird and subsequently ends up falling flat as a game – which might be forgivable to some extent if it wasn’t for its high pricetag.
