Oct 20, 2017This is one of those games that makes you feel smart more frequently than it makes you feel frustrated. Kind of like Portal or Snipperclips. The solutions are so intuitive (and sometimes deceptively simple) that you feel like you've outsmarted the game when you clear a stage.

May 5, 2018Didn't expect much, but it was a very good surprise. Fun little puzzle "party" game. Learn by dying and laughing at each other mistakes :)

Jan 23, 2020Fun co-op game that surprises and frustrates you in an enjoyable way. Just when you think something might work, you get electrocuted, spiked, or fall off the path. You also get to choose your characters' quirky appearance. Great for small group hangouts.

Sep 22, 2021Brilliant puzzler that centers around communication with multiple players. You genuinely feel smart after solving them rather than just relief at being done with it. I normally don't go in for puzzlers, but this game converted me.

Mar 13, 2020While its puzzles are a satisfying challenge and its voice overs have plenty of humorous moments, I couldn't help but feel like it wasn't finished.

Mar 18, 2022This feels like a wanna-be Portal. It doesn't reach the same heights but is quite fun to pull out with some friends on an evening.

Nov 5, 2022An awesome puzzle-game, with great humour. A must-have when it's discounted on e-shop.
But as far as I'm concerned, I play it alone.
It's really difficult, so co-op mode, when two players must synchronize themself, seems too hardcore for me

Oct 23, 2017Death Squared is a fun little puzzle game that, even after 80 stages, still remains fresh and engaging. Getting the hang of it only takes a few levels, but only the truly gifted will be able to handle some of the later stages solo. Multiplayer can be a fun time with the two Joy-Cons, but I wasn't particularly thrilled by the fact that enrolling a partner becomes almost necessary to finish the game's final bits. Either way, Death Squared provides plenty of fun for its low asking price, and should scratch any puzzle itch a Switch owner may develop.
