May 10, 2018Death Road to Canada finds its definitive place on Nintendo Switch. The possibility to play it handheld (+ multiplayer coop) is a real pleasure, and the random generation of places/events makes it highly replayable. That game, despite some minor bug (like the slow movement on the first play after installation on the console) in my opinion is absolutely recommended.

Jan 12, 2021Lots of fun, especially with custom characters.
The RNG is pretty rough sometimes, though. -

Jun 20, 2018Superb port to the Switch, it’s cheap and cheerful and provides plenty of entertainment. Multiplayer option is great. If you are not into completely random events and imminent deaths happening then this isn’t for you, but the replay value is cracking. The random characters you encounter on the way make it lots of fun, not to mention your own character creation section.

Mar 25, 2021At first glance this game seems fun, but after while it's very repetetive. I can recommend Organ Trail (but unfortunetly it's not avalible on Switch), but not this one.
Rocket Cat please give us Wayward Souls on Switch -
Apr 24, 2021The RNG in this game makes me want to cry in a corner but besides that it's pretty good.
I made one of my custom characters Mike Wheeler.
Just wanted to add that. -
Jul 21, 2022I never really played these type of pixel of games at all. This game changed my view of this. what an amazing game. The soundtrack is the best part of the game for me. Just a good vibe for a couch coop or single player change of pace game. The only negative I have is could use more areas or houses to explore.

Aug 27, 2023One of the only games that is able to balance humour with dark themes. The story that ends up being generated every time you play ends up not feeling robotic but instead ends up making me care about my characters. Co-op is also great.

Jun 20, 2018The tough difficulty spikes found can be off-putting, but if you love a good challenge then this could be the game for you. Death Road To Canada is easily one of my favourite surprises on the Switch currently.

Jun 7, 2018Death Road to Canada is a delightful text-based survival adventure that manages to inject a bit of life into the shuffling zombie genre. Perfect for short bursts, this is a road you'll want to go down.

May 31, 2018There’s no doubt that Death Road to Canada makes for a great time, regardless of whether you find yourself in the rogue-like or zombie survival camp. While the game doesn’t do much to innovate the genre at large, it’s hard to argue with having such a good time.
