Just as its first installment, Dadish 2 is a very fun little gem to play. Graphics, music, controls, graphics and dialogs will keep you playing for a couple of hours.

I’d always seen this on the eshop and ignored it because I thought it was for 3 year olds. Turns out it’s not and it’s actually a solid 2D platformer, in an old school kind of way. I wouldn’t quite call it masocore but it’s decently challenging and there’s a few sections I had to play a bunch of times to beat. It’s a bit like a chill, slower paced super meat boy. Thomas Young is spot on, and has a great lighthearted take on with how kids rationalize their mischief, and the the responses overwhelmed and clueless parents give. The platforming is simple, and similar to the original Dadish with a few surprises. It starts off very easy and progresses in difficulty very seamlessly. I enjoyed my time spent here and will be buying Dadish 3 if there is one. Expand

I bought this game right when it came out and it did not disappoint. It doesn’t add to many new mechanics, but that is overshadowed by all the charm! This is basically just Dadish part 2 as it only adds 50 more levels of Dadishy goodness. More levels, more charm, more fun. Took me the same amount of time to beat this game than Dadish (5 hours) and I again had a blast. The streamlinedI bought this game right when it came out and it did not disappoint. The sequel we all needed. Dadish 2 is just more dadish levels but with new mechanics and new characters.

I absolutely loved my time with Dadish 2 so if you're a fan of 2D platformers and silly humour then be sure to add this to your collection.

Ultimately Dadish 2 still offers up enough tight platforming thrills to make it well worth a look for 2D platformer enthusiasts, regardless of the system you play it on. The endearing presentation is just the cherry (radish?) on the cake.

Despite the game not having any new mechanics, the levels are polished, there is a good amount of challenge in each level, and the characters are just really fun to interact with. It’s a well-made platformer with some new characters that I just can’t get enough of.
